Khloe Kardashian is narked by a theory which claims that she is the result of an affair between Kris Jenner and O.J. Simpson.

The theory, which all members of clan Kardashian have rubbished, claims Kris and O.J. were engaged in a sordid affair while married to Rob Kardashian Snr and Nicole Brown Simpson respectively.

Often used to slight Kris, the allegation grew a fresh pair of legs once Kardashians rose to fame in their own light following the sale and release of Kim Kardashian’s adult movie.

What any of this has to do with anything that’s happening in today’s world?

An enraged Khloe took to Twitter to blast the idea that O.J was her father after the world learned that he is to be released from prison.

Welcome to another edition of Retro Rewind, the TGJ original feature launched to take you on a journey into television and film’s brilliant past.

After revisiting the 90s thriller ‘The Hand that Rocks the Cradle’ last week today sees us return to the year 1992 to celebrate the classic that is ‘Single White Female.’

Based on the book ‘SFW Seeks Same’ by John Lutz, ‘Female’ tells the intriguing tale of an ambitious but broken young woman who finds a friend and roommate is a seemingly sane lady named Hedra.

What happens next makes ‘White’ one of the most thrilling pictures in film history.

Joseline Hernandez has had enough.

The reality star saw her feud with ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ creator Mona Scott Young spill onto social media and eventually back onto the show’s finale.

As seen on the climax of the VH1 series, Hernandez “quit” and a history of her “problematic” behaviour was broadcast.

Irked by this, the 29-year-old stopped by The Breakfast Club today to tell her side of the story.

Renown for her fiery persona, the star showed an altogether more demure side when she broke down in tears over her depiction.

Remarkably though, she appeared open to the idea of joining the much rumored (and clearly “happening”) ‘Love & Hip-Hop: Miami.’ Especially now that she has lives there again.

Watch Joseline talk about a whole lot after the jump…

After enduring horrendous levels of violence, Nicole Brown freed herself from her husband O.J Simpson by filing for divorce in the February of 1992.

Two years later, she and her good friend Ron Goldman were stabbed to death at her home in Brentwood, California.

After a lengthy trial, Simpson was acquitted of their deaths but was found liable for them in civil court and this, much to his horror, meant he was obligated to pay the families of the deceased a sum of $33.5 million.

The problem?

He’s still yet to cover this debt and is now under pressure to cough up the cash now that he has been granted parole  and is expected to be released from prison after serving time for an unrelated crime.

David Cook, a lawyer representing Goldman’s heartbroken family, revealed:

I have a difficult job. My job is to collect on his civil judgment and not let the flame of Ron Goldman’s memory go out. He has one of the world’s three most recognizable names right now — his, the guy sitting in the White House and Vladimir Putin. When you have a name brand like this, you’re going to monetize it.

Cook hopes Simpson’s quest to capitalise on his latest case will force him to deliver the money he owes to the relatives of his alleged victims.

He had this to say before yesterdays’ announcement:

The good news for Mr. Simpson is he’s [probably] going to get out of jail. The bad news is I’m in pretty good health.

Taraji P. Henson seems keen to dominate on the TV and at the movies too.

The actress swaps the comedic sass of ‘Empire’s Cookie Lyon for an  altogether more high-action affair in Screen Gems production ‘Proud Mary.’

Henson plays a hit woman whose life is totally turned around when she meets a young boy who awakens a maternal instinct in her that she never knew she had.

A release date for the film (which also stars Danny Glover) has yet to be set, but to whet appetites a trailer has been unleashed.

Rob Kardashian’s nemesis Rarri True is reportedly in talks to join the cast of ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ following the departure of its ratings rock Joseline Hernandez.

Alas, sources close to the rising Urban star claim he feels production is unwilling to cough up the cash he feels his ties to Rob and Chyna make him entitled to.

TMZ spills:

Contracts have been circulated but not signed, and the unresolved issue is money. Ferrari’s moved on and has already hooked up with someone else, and that relationship will be featured on the show.

‘Sister Act’ may be on its way back to the big screen.

The 90s original and sequel have been cemented as classics in the eyes of many a millennial and now a whole new generation could be introduced to the world famous nuns.

Whoopi Goldberg, who played Deloris Van Cartier in both movies, spoke to Yahoo recently and revealed that a revival may well be on the cards. She said:

“I think that there will be a Sister Act 3. But I don’t know that I would be Deloris, which is OK, because it’s time for someone to do it. But it’s such a fun piece that I’m hoping someone will do it. Maybe I’ll direct it.”

While it’s not the first time Goldberg has hinted at the project, this is the most she’s said about the nature her own involvement in a theatrical reboot.

In the time since the earlier films, the actress has maintained close ties with all things ‘Sister Act’ – including producing a successful live adaptation that played on Broadway and London’s West End. During those ventures talented names such as Cynthia Erivo, Patina Miller, Raven Symone, and Alexandra Burke stepped into Deloris’ stilettos.

Released in 1992, ‘Sister Act’ went on to generate $231.6 million at the global box office. And while the worldwide total for its 1993 sequel ‘Sister Act: Back In The Habit’ remains undocumented, it did gross $57 million in the US alone.

************

If handled correctly, we’d be all the way here for this.

Sure, like many, we wouldn’t want our childhood memories marred by something potentially corny or subpar. But Goldberg’s involvement alleviates such worries.

The theater productions were stellar too; as such if the right team is assembled this could be a good look.

Viola Davis is determined to use her platform to lift the lid of societal evils.

How? By way of her production company JuVee which is set to shed light on the dark and demonic sex trade with help from her husband Julius Tennon who joins her to turn the book ‘Girls Like Us: Fighting for a World Where Girls Are Not for Sale’ into a film.

The project is yet to lock a release date in but will be developed as Davis commits to another season of her hit show ‘How To Get Away with Murder’     which will return to ABC at the end of the year.
