Jesse Williams is checking in to ‘Hotel Costiera,’ and he’s inviting the masses to join him.

Set to premiere on Amazon’s Prime Video in September, the series plays out in Italy’s Amalfi Coast and follows Daniel De Luca (Williams), a half-Italian U.S. Marine, who returns to his childhood home in Positano.

He’s there to work as a fixer at one of the most exclusive and luxurious hotels in the world. The job description tasks him with solving problems for the hotel’s mega-wealthy guests. However, things take a bad turn when the owner’s daughter goes missing without a trace. While Daniel is investigating her disappearance, he gets entangled in a dangerous web that pushes him more than ever before.

The cast also includes: Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva, and Jean-Hugues Anglade.

Tessa Thompson takes center stage in ‘Hedda.’

Eagerly anticipated, the film is directed by Nia DaCosta and serves as a uniquely bold reimagining of Henrik Ibsen’s classic 1891 stage play.

Centered on the layered life of ‘mad and bad’ anti-heroine Hedda Gabler (played by Thompson), the story chronicles the complex predicament she finds herself in.

There is the hovering ache of a past love and the silent suffocation of her present life. All unravels over the span of one super-charged night; one that sees long-repressed desires and hidden tensions boil to the surface. A tale of passion, manipulation, betrayal, and more proceeds to play out.

Thompson stars alongside Nina Hoss, Imogen Poots, Tom Bateman, Nicholas Pinnock, and Saffron Hocking.

Already one of the year’s most buzzed-about offerings, the movie was announced today (August 21) as one of the selections for the Official Competition for the BFI London Film Festival 2025.

Set to release in select theaters on October 22, ‘Hedda’ is slated to arrive on Amazon Prime Video on October 29.
