As Hollywood heartthrobs go, few come as idolised as Idris Elba.

The Brit-bred actor, who has topped this weekend’s box office with new Thriller ‘No Good Deed’, has etched himself into the hearts and fantasies of many; a trend which intensified recently following the surfacing of the…revealing…shot below.

And despite conceding that it was indeed a microphone and not a penis as many of his admirers assumed, the star was more than forthcoming about the whole episode during our hilarious new interview with him.

Diva.

It’s a word oft used to praise the mic-shattering chanteuses of yesteryear, but when used to describe starlet Ariana Grande, the word ‘diva’ comes baring more negative connotations than her young career can afford to carry.

Tomorrow brings with it the arrival of ‘No Good Deed’, the latest thriller from Sony Pictures.

The movie, which stars award-winning actor Idris Elba and Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson, tells a chilling tale that critics have christened a must-see.

Henson plays Terri; a devoted wife and mother of two, living an ideal suburban life in Atlanta. However, when Colin (Elba) – a charming but dangerous escaped convict – shows up at her door claiming car trouble, things  She offers her phone to help him yet soon learns that “no good deed” goes unpunished as she finds herself fighting for survival when he invades her home and terrorizes her family.

Exciting, right?!

He may presently be topping headlines for calling a Canadian reporter a ‘piece of sh*t’ on live TV (click here if you missed that), but former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson is also reportedly hard at work with putting the final touches on his forthcoming biopic…starring Jamie Foxx.

According to Tyson, he and Foxx are in discussions to begin production on the film that would see the ‘Unpredictable’ singer portray him at different stages of his life using CGI technology.

“Me and Jamie Foxx are in discussion, and we gonna do it,” said Tyson, 48. “Within a year to 18 months, we’re going to do the Mike Tyson story and he’s going to portray me, and now they have this new animation; because you know Jamie’s pretty much my age so he can’t portray me but they have this new system.”

Not even an all-star line up with the two of the most talked about booties in the industry – that of Jennifer Lopez‘s and Nicki Minaj‘s – were enough to resurrect the ratings of Fashion Rocks.

Taking a 6 year hiatus from television, the showing that aims to marry the hottest music with the hottest trends in fashion – fell flat with reports of less than half the ratings attributed to its 2008 showing.

Could it signal an end for the show?

It’s an undoubtedly a constant in the life of the ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ cast – both on and off screen.

Case in point, Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks.

Nida, who was sentenced to eight years in prison for money laundering and fraud, was due to turn himself in to begin his stint today. However, according to TMZ, things took an ultra dramatic turn.

Even news of Royal Baby #2 proved itself no match for the headline dominator of the week – the woes of Ray Rice.

As readers know, the former Baltimore Ravens’ star has been the talk of the week as footage surfaced of him violently attacking his then-fiancee, Janay, in an Atlantic City elevator.  And, while Mrs. Rice made headlines herself for slamming the media for “embarrassing her” with its extensive coverage of the story, news flooded elsewhere that the running back will no longer see his face gracing NIke or EA Sports (video game) campaigns.

Abruptly removed from the sports giants’ rosters following reports of the attack, all hope may not be lost for Rice.  NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell believes that with good behavior, we may soon see Ray on the football field again.
