After losing its home on The CW Tyra Banks‘ ‘America’s Next Top Model’ has been swept up by VH1.

Good news for the formerly cancelled show below…

After twenty two cycles ‘Model’ was axed by The CW after it joined the platform following its departure from UPN in 2006.

Fortunately, keen to turn its loss into their game, execs at VH1 have picked up the televised modelling competition to extend its journey as they continue to enjoy ratings pulled in by its ‘Love & Hip Hop’ empire.

News of its return comes after Banks made headlines when she left her very own talk show ‘FAB Life‘ after learning of its appalling ratings and after sources close to the ‘New York Daily News’ claim ‘Model’ was axed by The CW because Banks’ salary made the series far too expensive for them to maintain.

The supermodel turned super mogul is yet to announce her return to the new version of the series.

Its past judges include the supermodels Janice Dickinson and Twiggy as well as the British male model Rob Evans.

I agree I know she wants to probably say she quit instead of it was cancelled so watch this be one of the last seasons

But it won’t get more interesting rarely do the models end up successful

Bre Eva Caridee Regina Toccarra and Bianca are the only ones I see and most of them weren’t even winners

      Adrienne curry briefly

She lost all credibility when she choose ratings over real talent… too many of the talents aspiring models went one to afford the gimmicks the opportunity to have airtime SMDH

I’m happy at least this last season a real talent won the title!

After 22 seasons I would just let it go, and came up with a new concept of modeling show.

YES! I’m happy. ANTM was only getting better! This last season was straight fire! Besides having a cast that was truly competitive, and could actually be seen as working models, the drama was even better. I can’t wait to see the show only further excel.
