‘Leave the Door Open,’ the debut single from newly-formed band Silk Sonic (comprised of GRAMMY winners Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak), is opening the door to some impressive stats for both artists.

Released March 5, the Bruno-Anderson collaboration hadn’t even been available 24 hours before it shot to #1 on the real-time iTunes sales chart – leapfrogging over tunes from the likes of Drake, Dua Lipa, Cardi B, and other hitmakers in the process.  At writing, it remains in the tally’s top spot.

That commercial response, coupled with the 70’s-inspired song’s handsome debut streaming figures, saw ‘Open’ close its inaugural sales tracking week with some impressive numbers.

Inspired by her New Orleans roots, the latest horn and bass heavy-affair to get the visual treatment is ‘Pilot (a lude).’

The Zebretta “Miz Z” Johnson-directed visual for the interlude, which dropped at the top of the month, sees Dawn showing off some serious footwork in front of glossy, digitized geometric shapes while her red leotard-clad background dancers try to keep up the pace.

Zayn is back with new music.

For, the singer has just released the song ‘To Begin Again’ with singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson. The ballad is a snapshot of the moment a couple decides to rekindle their romance following a near-apocalypse.

Across the track, they sing:

When the world was ending / I’d hold you in my arms / And we talked about the places we’d never been / When the world was ending / We’d hold on to the past / Because it’s all we thought that we would ever see.

The new song arrives months after Zayn released his latest album ‘Nobody Is Listening’ (stream it here).
