Big Sean pays tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle in the music video for his latest release, ‘Deep Reverence.’

One of many gems found aboard Sean’s latest chart-topping album, ‘Detroit 2’ (click here to stream), the Hit Boy-produced ‘Reverence’ lives up to its title in homage to Hussle (who was murdered this month two years ago).

In the Sergio-directed video, Sean – alongside West Coast legend Snoop Dogg – salutes the fallen rapper by visiting a series of Los Angeles murals painted in his honor. Speaking on the experience, the 32-year-old took to Instagram to say:

“This one of the most uncomfortable, honest songs I ever did,” Sean said of the track on Instagram. “I said things on here I thought I’d never say publicly, but realized that u gotta live and own all your truths, cause u can’t always count on that opportunity to be there. To one of the realest, most solid humans ever made @nipseyhussle ! Thank you bro! You still blessing all of us! It’s deeper than 4Life it’s 4ever.”

Academy & GRAMMY-award winning singer-actress Jennifer Hudson is here to remind you how vital Black women-owned businesses are to our economy.

However, because they’re also among those that have been hit hardest by the global health crisis, Mastercard announced its ‘Strivers Initiative’ as a platform to help elevate the visibility of Black female businesses in America.

Tapping J-Hud to serve as its face, the initiative includes a grant program in partnership with Fearless Fund that supports Mastercard’s previously announced $500 million commitment to amplifying Black businesses and communities over the next 5 years.

To kickstart the campaign, the songstress teamed again with producer-performer extraordinaire Will.i.Am to give the 1967 classic Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell hit, ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,’ a 2021 twist.

Sweet news for Saweetie fans!

The rising rapstress’ latest single, ‘Best Friend,’ had its best showing yet on the Billboard Hot 100 as it lifted to a new peak of #28 on the recently refreshed tally.

To keep that momentum going, Saweetie tagged fellow rapstress Stefflon Don to hop on the remix of the Dr. Luke-produced cut (which previously featured Doja Cat).

“You know I’m always killin’ the show / In the streets I’m a lady, in the bed I’m a hoe / Ain’t a stripper but I really put it down on the pole / Plus I get dizzy in the kitchen, flick my wrist on the stove,” Stefflon spits on the ‘Friend’ revamp.

While Cat fans won’t likely appreciate her contribution being limited to the chorus with the removal of her entire verse, will Stef’s addition be just what’s needed to finally push the bop into the top 20?
