As we reported here, BLACKPINK made history when their Selena Gomez-assisted single – ‘Ice Cream’ – glazed the Hot 100’s top 20 in its premiere week.  The arrival made it the highest rung any female K-Pop group has ever reached.

However, the victory was short-lived as just a week letter the tune plummeted nearly 40 spots (as we reported here).

In a bid to rescue it from its #61 placement on this week’s chart, Gomez and the group have taken to their respective official YouTube handles to invite fans into a behind the scenes peek at ‘Ice Cream’s colorful music video’s creation.

The Alicia Keys takeover continued at ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ Wednesday (September 23) in celebration of the September 18 release of her long-awaited seventh studio album, ‘ALICIA.’

The residency has seen her not only act as interviewee but also the featured performer everyday this week – cranking out live renditions of album cuts ‘Love Looks Better’ and more.

The latest tune to get the live treatment is the Jimmy Napes-produced ‘Gramercy Park.’  Calling on GRAMMY nominated songstress Bebe Rexha to assist, the two put a well-received twist on the song in a socially distanced drive-in concert.

Jennifer Lopez is back and this time she’s teaming up with Maluma.

The music superstars team up to unleash a steamy set of visuals for their latest collaborations ‘Pa Ti’ and ‘Lonely.’ 

The pair cooked up the tracks as part of the new movie ‘Marry Me,’ where J. Lo stars alongside Maluma.

While the pair have created an entire soundtrack for the movie, which arrives on Valentine’s Day 2021, this is the first taste of music from it.

Among the prestigious list of luminaries, world leaders, scientists, artists, and icons featured in TIME magazine’s recently ‘100 Most Influential People of the Year’ list is Abel Tesfaye – better known to his fans as The Weeknd.

While a number of other artists have seen their commercial relevance wane in light of the global health crisis, Tesfaye – a multi-GRAMMY award winning music superstar nearly a decade into his career – may be experiencing his best year yet thanks to the megahit, ‘Blinding Lights,’ and its blockbuster parent album, ‘After Hours.’

In addition to earning his own cover of TIME for his domination of the music realm, the 30-year-old also showcased tunes from the top-selling LP by rendering live renditions of ‘Lights’ and ‘In Your Eyes’ for the mag’s accompanying ABC TV special.

Usher is back and wasting no time letting the masses know it.

The stage-blazer lived up to his billing on the season 15 finale of ‘America’s Got Talent.’

Backed by an army of dancers, the R&B veteran delivered a mesmerising medley of hits such as ‘Caught Up,’ ‘My Way,’ ‘Bad Girl,’ and more.

Pop diva Kylie Minogue sprinkles a little ‘Magic’ in her latest music video.

Wasting no time after premiering the song of the same name, the singer unwrapped its accompanying visual moments ago.

Like preceding effort ‘Say Something,’ the clip was directed by Sophie Muller.

Both are lifted from Minogue’s forthcoming album ‘Disco’ – due November 6 via BMG.

Billboard buoyancy certainly isn’t a theme in the latest chapter of ‘Tattletales,’ the sophomore studio album of 6ix9ine.

The effort, which dropped September 4, made fans drop jaws after industry analysts downgraded its original 150,000 unit first-week sales prediction to 50,000 – a measure he bested when the set premiered at #4 on the Billboard 200 with figures of 53,000 attached (click here to read more).
