Thanks to the enduring success of her first multiplatinum hit, the chart-topping ‘Say So’ (as we reported here), rapper Doja Cat saw the tune’s 2019-released parent album – ‘Hot Pink’ – crack the Billboard 200’s top 10 earlier this year.  In fact, the #9 peak is her highest rung reached on that tally to date.

To keep up the momentum of her relatively newfound success, the 24-year-old – fresh from her inaugural MTV VMA win as 2020’s ‘Best New Artist’ – has revealed she’s already put the finishing touches on ‘Pink’s follow-up.

Careful not to reveal the LP’s title or release date, she did suggest the opus (her third studio effort) may drop as a surprise.

Megan Thee Stallion is a champion and – if her newest freestyle is to judge by – she’s here to serve the notice.

Ahead of winning her second MTV VMA Sunday night (August 30), the 25-year-old was on the wind down from her August 29 comeback performance (the first since her shooting incident) when she took to social media to upload a freestyle.

Stallion, who alleges she was shot by fellow rapper Tory Lanez after a disagreement, filmed a video in her kitchen as she rapped:

“Tic tac toe, I X this b*tch/ If a hit dog holler, I address that s–t,” she spat. “Got shot two times and I ate that s–t/ Bounced right back with a Revlon deal.”

Little Mix continues their vacation on, albeit at a much more leisurely pace.

Moments ago, the group shared the acoustic version of their UK Top 20 hit, ‘Holiday.’ 

The song serves as the second offering from the quad’s upcoming sixth studio album. The track follows the UK Top 10 hit, ‘Break Up Song.’ 

Its stripped-back incarnation puts their luscious harmonies in the forefront and presents a new, softer dimension to the track.

Christina Aguilera is warming up the masses for the release of Disney‘s live-action remake of ‘Mulan.’

Ahead of the film’s September 4 arrival on Disney+, the vocal supernova took front-stage center on Good Morning America today to perform a medley of new musical numbers she has contributed to the movie’s soundtrack.
