Nicki Minaj has sprung a surprise on her buzzing Barbs!
Following the reveal of the tracklist for her album ‘The Pinkprint’ this morning, the Young Money maestra has shared the confirmed list of collaborators on the fiercely anticipated set.
The LP, which arrives on December 15th, will see the rapper reunite with her ‘Flawless’ partner Beyonce, as well as her fellow ‘Bang Bang’ belter Ariana Grande.
Danity Kane‘s break-up remains one of the year’s messiest, muckiest, and muddiest stories.
Yet member Aubrey O’Day is pushing on — with the help of comrade Shannon Bex.
As reported, the blonde bombshells are working on a collaboration project which they’ve remained relatively mum on…until last night.
O’Day was spotted at the 2014 Hollywood Christmas Parade and was quizzed by Pacific Rim Video about the project, being assaulted by Dawn Richard, and more.
With the Platinum Edition of Beyonce‘s visual album now in stores, the remoulded set has re-ignited buzz surrounding the game-changing project.
Originally released one year ago, the blockbuster set rocked the industry by not only arriving unannounced, but by coming packaged with a video for every song.
Two of the clips most-talked-about were the Jonas Akerlund helmed ‘Haunted’ and ‘Superpower’.
The much-sought after director is now giving the masses a behind the scenes look at the creation of both visuals, debuting never-before-seen by way of our friends over at Revolt.
Like previous years, this instalment of the annual extravaganza paid homage to the achievements of the industry’s R&B and Hip-Hop stars.
Hosted by media mogul Wendy Williams, the event (which was shot earlier this month in Las Vegas Nevada) saw performances from the likes of Chris Brown, Tinashe, and Jodeci. The show also staged the much-talked about ‘Ladies Night’ reunion featuring Lil Kim, Missy Elliott, and Da Brat.
Few projects can genuinely wear the title of “one of the most anticipated albums of the year”. Yet, for Nicki Minaj’s third studio LP ‘The Pinkprint’, it’s a status that is wholly befitting.
Due to descend into stores on December 15th, the record is preceded by singles ‘Pill N Potions’, ‘Anaconda’, ‘Only (ft. Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown)’ and the recently unwrapped ‘Bed of Lies’.

Here at TGJ we feel it imperative to honor the originators who paved the way for our favorite artists and yours. As such, From The Vault is travelling back to the year 1981 when a certain Luther Vandross unleashed what would become a genre-defining classic. This week’s pickk is ‘Never Too Much’
The disco track was the first release from Vandross’ solo-debut of the same name. It was written and produced by the artist – as was the vast majority of its parent album. At a time where “Urban” wasn’t as accepted as it is nowadays, the single charted at a respectable #33 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was a major success on the self-explanatory and now-defunct Hot Black Singles chart where it earned the top spot. Also, the release was a Top 50 hit in the United Kingdom.
Set in a groovy New York, the cut’s accompanying music video showcases pedestrians jamming to the rhythm of the city that never sleeps while Luther can be seen in a recording studio booth wearing what can only be described as an… interesting jacket. Gotta love that 80’s fashion!
With eight Grammys, over 30 million records sold and a myriad of classics to his name, Luther Vandross through his 25+ years career has been a consistant ambassador for R&B music. Like many other deceased artists of his caliber, he is the proof that if you commit to making the most genuine and authentic art, you can live forever.
Fresh from surprising fans with the title and release date for his third studio album ‘Forest Hills Drive’, J. Cole has followed through with the tracklist for the hotly anticipated set.
Named after the street where the Roc Nation MC’s childhood home is situated (a property he has since purchased), the project isn’t being preceded by any singles and will instead be promoted as a body of work when it arrives on December 9th.
Which tracks will populate the LP? Find out below…
As the thirst for her new music continues among her fan base, Pop superstar Rihanna was seemingly hungry in NYC last night, when she stepped out to dine with pals.
After chowing down, the entertainer was caught by fans and members of the paparazzi with whom she stopped to pose for pictures with.
The rising stars, who many have pegged two of tomorrow’s biggest names, were snapped posing together in Abu Dhabi earlier this week.
Both ladies were in town for a private event before heading back to the US and UK respectively.
A collabo would be awesome, right? Even if not a duet. Tinashe has proven herself a sound songwriter, hence would be a great addition to the roster of names assembled to concoct hits for Ora’s new LP.
