If Ashanti’s candid sitdown with Hot 97 recently is anything to judge by, her ‘BraveHeart’ is a bit braver than most give her credit for.

For,itt may have been the whisper of the music industry for 9 years, but now ‘The Way I Love You’ singer has found a way to publicly admit to her long-time relationship with hit rapper Nelly as well as the turbulence that accompanied it.

Speaking ever candidly to Hot 97’s Ebro and Laura Styles, the songstress had a no-holds-barred conversation regarding the ups and downs of the duo’s dating in ways she never has before, while also dishing on her new album ‘Braveheart’, its serial delays, and her bouts with a now jailed stalker.

Today marks the global release of Britney Spears‘ eighth studio album ‘Britney Jean’.

Given the lofty heights of Spears’ star-power, the arrival of the LP was always going to be a Pop event. That much was a given.

However, for many, the release is marred by the project’s lack of hit single/s (preceding efforts ‘Work B*tch’ and ‘Perfume’ both fared poorly on the charts). What’s more, the once-muted frustration of fans jarred by the singer’s lack of promotional appearances and performances has grown into a loud chorus of disappointment.

And yet still, the LP – as at writing – sits at #1 on iTunes tallies across the globe (including the US and UK).

Ever keen to plough through the smoke, mirrors, and propaganda, That Grape Juice wants to know what YOU think of ‘Britney Jean’! Will you be buying? What helped you reach your decision?

Cop a gander of Ciara!

The dynamo diva looks all sorts of lush on the latest cover of luxury fashion mag Genlux.

It’s been somewhat a musically mute few months for the singer, who released self-titled album back in July. However, as per this feature, as well high-profile appearances at the American Music Awards and international touring, the newly-engaged singer has certainly not been idle.

That said, an update on her next musical move would not go amiss. ‘Overdose’?

Your thoughts?

Promo shy Pop star Britney Spears finally seems to realize she has a new album in stores and has aptly hit the TV circuit in support of it.

The former stage blazer stopped by The Ellen Show this week to plug the LP, which is preceded by singles ‘Work B*tch’ and ‘Perfume’.

Naturally not performing, the 32-year-old instead sat down to dish on the album as well as her new boyfriend. Any guesses as to which topic she seemed most excited about? Find out after the jump…
