Named ‘Two Three‘, the cut does make for a decent listen, seeing P showcase his skills to a generation more familiar with his son – Romeo Miller– than they are with him.

Rihanna frightened many-a-viewer (for unintended reasons) with her latest video ‘What Now’, but she may not be done with her antics yet.  Now re-teaming with her ‘Love The Way You Lie’ co-star Eminem, the duo shared the snap above on Instagram today from the set of their ‘The Monster’ video.

The song, which has already skyrocketed to the top of charts and sitting pretty at #2 this week, is featured on Em’s latest album ‘Marshall Mathers LP 2’. Celebrating a monster debut itself after blasting straight to the top of charts with over 775k sold its first week, the album pushed just enough numbers this week to mark platinum status.

As we await what is sure to be a chatter-worthy visual from Em and Ri, those unfamiliar with the song can take a listen below:

Last week Eminem & Rihanna scared away the competition with their ‘Monster’ debut on Billboard Hot 100.

Alas, their roar – nor the ‘Roar’ of a certain Katy Perry – has managed to frighten the likes of Billboard champion Lorde as her breakaway hit ‘Royals’ claims the throne for its 8th week.

But, as the gap between ‘Monster’ and ‘Royals’ closes, there are others newcomers on the prowl for the top seat as well.  Cue Lady  Gaga

Along with the success of VH1’s top-rated biographical film ‘CrazySexyCool:  The TLC Story’ has come much analysis and debate about artist rights, contracts, and the like.  A story not uncommon in the industry, but never any less striking when such a narrative reaches the media.

Ask ‘Baby It’s You’ beauty Jojo.

The songstress has long been vocal about her situation with label Blackground Records – a situation that has seen her take to outlets (i.e. social media, interviews, etc.) to voice disdain for the label and her contract there.

But, even after years of protest, a recent quote from the ‘Demonstrate’ diva may just be the most damning yet.  It’s not even 10 seconds long, but it packs the most powerful punch:

With Britney Spears‘ new single ‘Perfume’ in free-fall on the charts, the video shoot for the track has come right on time.

After (not quite) working up a storm in this Summer’s ‘Work B*tch’ visual, the Pop force returns to the desert for her latest clip – which is the second to be lifted from upcoming album ‘Britney Jean’.

The singer has tapped dynamo director Joseph Kahn for vid, which -at this point- is the only thing that can save the song from its dismal run. Time will tell.

While album sales have and will always hold more weight than single sales, the last decade has birthed acts who have seen their singles make quite a pretty profit for their supporting labels- by way of deals that see these companies take a sizeable piece of those artists commercial pies.

So, one doesn’t have to wonder why Peter Edge‘s ‘RCA Records’ now hold Pitbull in high regard, despite his inability to replicate his Hot 100 success story on the Billboard 200.

For, thanks to his Dance dominated discography, the Pop emcee has now seen sales of his single fist pump past the 40 million mark!
