‘Tik Tok’ hitmaker Ke$ha wasted very little time responding to reports her hit song ‘Die Young’ was yanked from radio air due to insensitivity to the recent Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy of Newton, Connecticut.

As stories of the song’s removal from radio ran atop headlines, Ke$ha ran to Twitter to offer an explanation of the song’s origin that may have incited a new set of headlines of its own:

Rising rapper A$AP Rocky is gearing up for the release of his hotly anticipated debut ‘Long.Live.A$AP’ early next year. So in a smart bid to drum up heightened buzz ahead of the set’s January 13th arrival, the 24 year old  dropped by The Breakfast Club on New York’s Power 105.1.

An insightful interview, the RCA star chatted it up with hosts Charlamagne, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy about many a topic – including his left-field fashion, how it’s impacted perception of his sexuality, maturing, more, and more.

Life, as far as sales are concerned, must be sweet for Bruno Mars.

Sending his second LP ‘Unorthodox Jukebox‘ to #2 on this week’s Billboard 200 tally, sales of 187,339 have ensured his chances of suffering’sophomore slump’ slim to none.

However, it is with heavy hearts that we report that not everyone fared so well on the charts this week. Yes, much like her vocals delivery at 2011’s ‘Rock In Rio’, Rihanna‘s ‘Unapologetic’ continues to fall flat.

Fresh from the premiere of part 1 of JoJo‘s set on The Splash, the petite powerhouse’s new mixtape ‘Agape’ has been made available for streaming.

Available as a free download on Thursday (the singer’s 22nd birthday), the 13-track set features contributions from the likes of Michael Jackson’s nephew Austin Brown and Rihanna collaborator Elijah Blake.

 Ever the artiste, Rita Ora has developed quite the knack of taking original songs and reworking them with impressive results. From Frank Ocean‘s ‘Swim Good‘ to Destiny’s ChildSay My Name’, very few songs can say they haven’t received the Ora treatment, and last night- Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Swimming Pools‘ joined that list.

Performing the song during her ‘Highline Ballroom’ set last night, it’s safe to say it marked one of her best performances thus far. So good, we hope it becomes a staple in her live show.

Pop powerhouse JoJo turns 22 years young on Thursday! And so as to celebrate, the vocalist is gifting her ever-loyal fans a collection of free songs – affectionately christened ‘Agape’.

Ahead of the project’s release, the Boston native performed a stunning acoustic set for That Grape Juice’s The Splash.

With thousands of fans voting for which songs should feature in the four-song setlist, we can reveal that two of the most demanded were ‘Agape’ favourite ‘Andre’ and signature hit ‘Too Little Too Late’.

The VH1 Divas 2012 arrival carpet glowed purple on Sunday, apt as That Grape Juice was on hand to chat it up with some of night’s big performers.

Singer-songwriter Keri Hilson was one of the many names we caught up with. Pre-hitting the stage to tribute Donna Summer alongside Kelly Rowland and Adam Lambert, the Atlanta native opened up about her return to the limelight, as well as her third studio album (due next year).
