Indeed, the coveted biopic role has launched many-an-act to stardom in its tenure by bringing to light the real personal lives of celebrated public figures. 

Most recently, VH1 has taken the reins in preparation of a TLC biopic and continues to tease fans with snaps from the set of the highly anticipated film (like the one seen here).  With many great biopics of yesteryear to live up to, our excitement for the venture leads us to ask you – That Grape Juice faithful:

With the world head over heels with her new single Beautiful, it’s safe to say Brand Mariah Carey is back in its rightful place (see ‘American Idol’ judging backlash).

Now, in doing her part to truly help this year’s contestants outside of the series, the Grammy award winning star has invited three of them to collaborate on her forthcoming album- epic by all estimations.

After watching the campaign for her debut LP ‘ORA’ shift over 1 million units in the UK alone, Rita Ora sets her sights on the big screen with a cameo in forthcoming movie ‘Fast & Furious 6′.

‘This is a Special Delivery…’

For fans of New Yorker Bridget Kelly, the year 2013 is set to spell a number of wins for the entertainer- kicking off with the release of her long awaited Roc Nation backed debut album.

Spearheaded by the budding smash ‘Special Delivery‘ and her critically acclaimed contributions to Jay Z’s ‘Empire State Of Mind’ and Luke James’IOU‘, the project is well on its way to  becoming an R&B ‘must have’- as its release date drawers near.

As each and every one of her ‘Unapologetic‘ cuts heads to the commercial heavens, Rihanna enjoyed some downtime in NYC two days ago- hitting the Bulls vs Nets game with close friend and ROC pal Tyran Smith.

Sporting a new hue as she signed autographs for fans, the ‘If It’s Lovin’ That You Want‘ songbird was snapped in what has no doubt been a busy week for her fellow Roc siblings- with Rita Ora continuing work on her US debut in LA and Elijah Blake gearing up for the release of his ‘XOX’ video- set for release by the summer’s end.

Sunday saw a crazed male fan tackle pop pinup Justin Bieber on stage while the hitmaker was performing the title track of his latest album.

Bieber, who recently landed in Dubai for the international leg of his wildly successful ‘Believe’ tour, was caught off guard when an overzealous Belieber believed he needed to get a little closer to the action – knocking Bieber and a piano over in the process.

Thankfully, security quickly responded to remove the attacker.  Watch the crazy video below:
