Seemingly over her days of being a mere socialite in ‘Black Hollywood’, Teyana Taylor continues on in her efforts to launch a career in music today, trying her hand at Nicki Minaj‘s new single ‘Pills N Potions.’

Uploading a portion of the song on her ‘Instagram’ page, Taylor’s take on ‘Potions’ comes days after her pal Karrueche Tran bared all on her “battle” with Pop singer Rihanna, whom Teyana is also feuding with.

However, with a voice like hers, we’d say petty squabbles should be the least of T’s problems this year, now standing just one hit away from turning into the R&B force she’s destined to become.

Having served up ‘Lemonade’ to quench the thirst of fans this Summer, Danity Kane are now looking to the track’s parent album.

The newly remoulded threesome, which now consists of Dawn, Shannon, and Aubrey (after Aundrea departed in May to start a family), remain hard at work on the as yet untitled set.

To boost buzz, the group have shared snippets of new material via Dawn’s Instagram.

After being slammed by the ‘Where Have You Been’ bleater on Twitter for an assumed diss, the singers – namely lead songstress T-Boz – have been fending off attack from Ri’s faithful #Navy.

Our girl Syleena Johnson has definitely been building quite the buzz with her most recent cinematic clip ‘Perfectly Worthless.’

Nicki Minaj works new magic on an old number this time around, adding a little spice to Cam’ron‘s ‘So Bad’ with a generous dose of ‘Onika’ salt’n’pepper!

Originally released in 2012, the song-sans Minaj– dropped with a hook performed by Yummy Bingham, and now features a ‘Barbie‘-inspired verse from the rapper, coming two years after she and Cam collaborated on Rap number, ‘I Am Your Leader.’

We’ve loved Tamar Braxton’s ‘Love & War,’ partied with Trina Braxton, and, of course, celebrated decades of hits with eldest sister Toni Braxton.  Now, ‘Braxton Family Values’  fans will have to make room in their collections for the work of another from the Braxton clan – Traci.

Viewers of the show have long followed Traci’s story line of breaking from the shadows of stage fright and lack of confidence to stepping into the spotlight on her own.  As her new single (released today) evidences, those shadows exist no more.

‘Last Call’ beams as a bold slow jam that pleas with love to shape up or ship out.  Will listeners feel the same way about Tray’s foray into R&B?
