Cake…cake…cake…cake…cake…

…and it’s not even her birthday.  But, that hasn’t stopped ‘Poker Face’ performer Lady Gaga from gifting fans with another teaser to her highly anticipated, Terry Richardson-directed number ‘Cake’.

After a less than stellar showing on Children In Need this week, the ladies of Girls Aloud redeemed themselves aplenty on Strictly Come Dancing tonight.

Backed by an army of dancers and ample theatrics, Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Cole, and co rocked the semi-final stage of the show at London’s Wembley Arena with comeback single ‘Something New’.

The lead release from the group’s retrospective set ‘Ten’ (due November 26th), ‘Something’ hit iTunes today – a fact which heightened the stakes.

Positively glowing, the icon hit the event two months before she graces screens worldwide via FOX‘s ‘American Idol’ , in which she is set to star in with fellow musician Nicki Minaj, manager Randy Jackson and Country music star Keith Urban.

Snapped alongside Nick, who hosted the star studded event, Mimi rubbed shoulders with the likes of Nicole Ritchie, Victoria Justice and ‘Should Be You’ mastermind Ne-Yo.

The Soul Train Awards 2012 took place earlier this month in Las Vegas, and so as to whet appetites ahead of the show’s November 25th air-date, Centric have released teaser clips from some of the night’s big performances.

Fantasia “churched it and worked it” with her rendition of Aretha Franklin’s ‘Don’t Play That Song’, while Elle Varner gave the a audience a ‘Refill’. Also on the bill were Stevie Wonder, 2 Chainz, and Keyshia Cole.
