This week’s That Grape Juice Cover Star is A. Fox. Watch as the songstress takes on Aaliyah‘s Drake-assisted tune ‘Enough Said’ below:

Given the buzz about forthcoming music from late R&B superstar Aaliyah, it should come as no surprise that this week’s cover would be related.

With a tone somewhat reminiscent of Aaliyah’s ever-praised falsetto, Fox definitely succeeds in her attempt to convey the same emotion the late songstress was going for in ‘Said’.  And it doesn’t hurt that Miss Fox also looked to dress the part as well.

With just a week left before fans can get to experience pop legend Whitney Houston‘s final movie role, the cast of the highly anticipated ‘Sparkle’ set their promo efforts into overdrive for the film.

The star studded cast, which also features Derek Luke, Omari Hardwick, Cee Lo Green, and more, saw its leading ladies Jordin Sparks, Tika Sumpter, and Carmen Ejogo feature on September’s Ebony magazine.

And, as their promo efforts continue to cross many-an-outlet, a recent sitdown saw the ladies quizzed on their thoughts on who should assume the role of Houston in a biopic – should one ever come to light.  Find out who they think could fill the shoes of the legendary diva below:

As one of the many masterminds to craft Aaliyah‘s trademark sound, there was little doubt Missy Elliott would be called to  contribute on the star’s recently confirmed posthumous album.

Unfortunately, despite her contributions to the music they are undoubtedly profiting from, Elliott has revealed that the singer’s label Blackground Recordings did not invite her to work on the LP.

Claiming, that the ailing music group is yet to even tell her about the project.

Beyonce put her star power to good use today, lending her voice to today’s ‘World Humanitarian Day‘ festivities in NYC.

Speaking at the UN Security Council an hour or so ago, the singer/songwriter also shot the video for her latest release ‘I Was Here’ at the event, all before she donates the proceeds from the single to its cause.

With new single ‘Enough of No Love’ burning up at radio (due, largely, to a nifty Clear Channel deal which saw the Lil Wayne assisted cut inititally played every hour on the hour Urban stations), the songstress stopped by Angie Martinez Show on Hot 97 to plug the song.
