Don Cornelius, the host of long running series Soul Train has died today, aged 75.

Said to have committed suicide, his death was caused by  a gun shot to head and was found in his home Californian home in the early hours of this morning.

Because, less than a fortnight after the release of its controversial video, the network have banned it, days before the star takes to Superbowl 2012 to perform with Madonna.

‘Dirrty’ diva Christina Aguilera is front and center of the next issue of Rolling Stone magazine with ‘The Voice’ co-hosts Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton.  The musical foursome is set to take over the tube following this Sunday’s Superbowl on NBC.

Steering a second season of the beloved talent show, Aguilera is taking time from putting the finishing touches of her ‘F*ck Your Body’ led 5th LP to join the boys in what will assuredly be one of many promo spots before the show’s season premiere.

‘1, 2 Step’ singer Ciara stepped out today to attend a media field day hosted in Indianapolis.  As football fans prep for the Superbowl showdown between the New York Giants and New England Patriots, apparent Patriot fan Cici hit the field to do a little corresponding of her own on behalf of Entertainment Tonight.

Cici’s sidegig comes shortly after news of her Epic moves in music and film.  The first being a role on the the Adam Sandler led film ‘Donny’s Boy’, hitting theaters June 15 .

Tyler Perry is back and has brought along Gabrielle Union for his latest big screen offering ‘Good Deeds’.

Indeed, in support of her upcoming album ‘PF: Roman Reloaded’, the Rap star covers the latest edition of ‘Wonderland’ magazine, weeks ahead of the LP’s release.

Dressed in an eye popping pink fashions, the shot also comes days before the Rapper takes to Superbowl 2012 to perform Give Me all Your Luvin with Madonna and MIA.
