Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: Scrappy Inks New ‘Sony’ Deal / Readies New Album Release

Congratulations are most certainly in order for ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ star Darryl ‘Scrappy’ Richardson!

For, in making a fresh bid to revitalise his Lil John fuelled career, the 29 year old MC has inked a brand new recording contract with Sony Entertainment, and readies a new album with the label’s full backing in the coming months!

Marking his first deal since he parted ways with Island Def Jam and Ludacris‘ ‘Disturbin Tha Peace’, Scrappy’s new deal with Sony sees him do so via his own ‘Gri$tle Gang‘ Records and ‘Chinga Chang’ Records, all three of which will use their resources to support his forthcoming LP…‘Reparations.’

On the release, the seasoned Rapper explains:

“Partnering with Chinga Chang Records is the best move I’ve made since I entered the Hip-Hop game, period!Reparations reflects the maturity and wisdom I’ve learned from being in this industry.”
