As Rihanna spread fairy tales and fallacies on Twitter over the weekend, her long time hero Beyonce put her time to better use when she arrived at the 2013 Essence Festival to rock its audience with an electric stage show.

Part of her ‘Mrs.Carter Show’ venture, her show at the Fest saw her rock out in the company of many a musician, including ‘Street Dreamin’ darling Bridget Kelly– who was reportedly in the audience alongside the likes of Keyshia Cole!

Backed by her army of female dancers, Ms. Harris rocked the house like only she can. Indeed, not only is she booking stages, she’s leaving her footprint on them too.

Jennifer Lopez is Hollywood royalty, hence it’s only fitting that the premium diva channels just that on the latest cover of ‘W’ magazine.

With current single ‘Live It Up’ fizzling rather than sizzling, it appears La Lopez is shifting gears –  recently teasing that its parent album will be arriving all the way in November. Expect to see ‘I’m Out’ hitmaker Ciara out and about all summer long as she pushes the promo machine into overdrive for her new July 9th-due album.

Bringing the “party” to BET’s ‘106 & Park’ tonight, fans were raving when the songstress cranked out a live rendition of fan favorite ‘DUI’ just hours after delivering another teaser of its official music video.  Cici’s set also saw her visit her latest Urban smash ‘Body Party’ as well as ex-boyfriend Bow Wow looked on from the crowd.

Samsung may have purchased 1 million copies of his new LP for their mobile phone users, but it seems Jay Z won’t be needing these sales to top the Billboard 200 next week.

Indeed, thanks to a short but potent digital campaign launched for the ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’, pre-orders for the release have sky rocketed in the last week, giving it no choice but to soar to the top of the charts next week!

Yesterday, fans of ‘The Final Goodbye’ singer rejoiced in the news that Rihanna‘s ‘Stay’ had become the highest selling ballad by a black female artist, in the US.

Retweeting a fan who shared this information with fans, the performer came under heavy praise from her supporters for nabbing the record, and ultimately snatching it from Beyonce and her heartfelt jam, ‘Halo‘.

Unfortunately, much like the second #1 album she’s yet to score, it emerged that the so called record did not exist- with records by Whitney Houston, Beyonce and Tracy Chapman trumping sales scored by ‘Stay’.

Behold the mess that is former Fefe Dobson impersonator Rihanna, caught on camera making a spectacle of herself in Poland over the weekend.

Arriving to support R&B royal Miguel at the Open’er Festival, the Pop star faced the ultimate shame when staff at the venue were forced to escort her out of the spot….thanks to the amount of alcohol she allegedly downed while there.

Unfortunately, she wasn’t alone in this.

For, seemingly just as drunk as she were her best friend Melissa Forde and assistant Jennifer Rosales, stumbling away like three blind mice- aided by security who tried their best to keep them on their feet.

Alas, this was to no avail.
