Undoubtedly one of the year’s biggest breakout stars, Big Sean has made many sit-up and listen.

Aged just 23, the Detroit native is Def Jam / G.O.O.D Music‘s latest offering – and if the immense buzz surrounding theKanye West protégée is anything to go by, he may be one of their biggest yet.

We caught up with the rapper, real name Sean Michael Anderson, here in London last week – where he chatted it up with us about many a topic including his persistance in getting Kanye to support his cause, his rise to prominence, collaborating with Kelly Rowland and more.

It’s been quite the roller-coaster for Kelly Rowland‘s third studio album. Delayed, revised, and greeted with cynicism from some sects, the LP -later christened ‘Here I Am’– has gone on to defy the 30 year old’s critiques by earning Rowland her first solo Platinum plaque.
