Tank took center stage on NPR‘s Tiny Desk Concert as the latest star to celebrate Black Music Month on the platform.
Joined by friends Luke James, Brooke Valentine, and Lonny Bereal, the R&B maestro delivered a dynamic set that brought with it both vocals and big hits.
Of the latter, Tank blended his performance with tracks of his own such as ‘Please Don’t Go’ and ‘Maybe I Deserve’ with cuts he wrote for others like ‘O’ (Omarion), ‘Regret’ (LeToya Luckett), and Jamie Foxx.

iCandy is one of 2023’s rising music stars thanks to the ongoing popularity of her breakthrough single, ‘Keep Dat N***a,’ on TikTok.
Instantly recognizable for its prominent sample of KC & the Sunshine Band’s 1975 smash ‘Boogie Shoes,‘ the Donaldson Cenatus-produced tune encouraged TikTokers to put on their boogie shoes to show off their best takes on its accompanying dance challenge – a viral wave that led ‘Keep’ to rack up millions of spins across social media and digital music streaming platforms as well as hop into the top 40 of Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
To push it to even higher heights on the hitlist, the Pompano Beach-based rapstress (born Shakerria Davis) employed the help of her femcee friends GloRilla, Big Boss Vette, and Kali.

Rihanna‘s 2016 album, ‘Anti,’ may have started its narrative as a critical polarizer but it went on to become one of the most celebrated studio efforts of the decade.
Still listed on the Billboard 200 weekly (#81 on the chart’s most recent edition), the ‘Work‘-led project is printed in history books for being the first LP by a Black female artist to enjoy a tenancy on the tally longer than 350 weeks.
Nearly six months after touching that unprecedented milestone, ‘Anti’ is still finding new commercial success posts to cross.

Kylie Minogue‘s ‘Padam Padam’ has had heads bobbing and bodies rocking since storming onto airwaves on May 18.
Yet, for all the fanfare and glorious memes it’s inspired since arriving, a chief complaint of the Lostboy-produced bop is its brevity – a status that forced a number of supporters to take to the net with their own unofficial extended mixes.
Answering the call from her beloved fans (affectionately called #Lovers) to increase the tune’s thumping runtime in an official capacity, Minogue recently unveiled a 4-minute version of the ‘Tension‘ track (an extension of the original that clocked in right under 3 minutes).
The latest step toward catapulting ‘Padam’ to even higher heights on UK and US charts, hop inside to hear the cut’s expanded edition.
Babyface has broken his silence after being shockingly dropped from Anita Baker’s current US tour.
As reported, the legendary music maestro was axed from the Queen of Quiet Storm’s latest trek following an arguably one-way feud.
In a series of tweets shared over several days, Baker took aim at Babyface’s fans – who she asserts were “cyber bullying” her and erroneously blaming her for the prolific hitmaker being omitted from a select date on the tour.
Despite Babyface maintaining a dignified silence, it didn’t stop Baker from directly blasting him too.
Reacting to all of the developments, the 64-year-old (born Kenny Edmonds) has issued a statement.
