As only a month separates Shawn Mendes fans from the October 18 release of his fifth studio album – the eponymous ‘Shawn’ – expect to see much of the 26-year-old on the promo trail in the coming weeks in support of the project.

Despite having already scored a Hot 100 top 40 hit with the LP’s lead single, ‘Why Why Why‘ (#30 peak), the Canadian hitmaker’s already moved on from that August-released tune to focus attention on its follow-up ‘Nobody Knows.’

When you’re so in love / And your souls touch / But it’s still not enough / Where does it go? (Woah) / Where does it go? / Nobody knows (Nobody, nobody) / Where the love goes,” he croons over the Mike Sabath-produced chorus.

Days after collecting critical acclaim aplenty for giving ‘Nobody’ a live debut aboard the 2024 MTV VMAs on September 11, Mendes followed by unveiling the song’s official music video and yet another live performance of it.

Over 6 years after winning over music lovers with their first collaboration ‘Happy Without Me‘ (aboard ChloexHalle‘s 2018 debut album ‘The Kids Are Alright‘), Chloe Bailey has reunited with award-winning rapper-actor Joey Bada$$ – this time by her lonesome for his new song ‘Tell Me.’

“Tell me, why you in love with me? / Is it money or the fame / Or the fact that I’m livin’ in a lab, but it’s luxury? / Tell me why all of suddenly you wanna come kiss up with me,” he raps over the slow burning, R&B-inspired groove.

The follow-up to his singles ‘Fallin’ and the KayCyy-assisted ‘Passports & Suitcases,’ ‘Tell Me’ – produced by Boys Are Rolling and Grant Lapointe – is undoubtedly set to amplify appetites for Joey’s fourth studio album (the successor to 2022’s ‘2000‘ LP).

Until we get the official word on that project, hop inside to get better acquainted with ‘Tell.’
