Kelly Clarkson has one again brought the heat with another cover of a famous song.

During her most recent “Kellyoke” segment on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show,’ she covered Cyndi Lauper‘s mega-hit ‘I Drove  All Night.’

The fast-paced production builds to a euphoric crescendo, where Clarkson lets her powerful vocals soar over the chorus with ease.

‘I Drove All Night’ was written by songwriters Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly for Roy Orbison. However, Lauper’s version was released before his. The song has since been covered by many notable acts, one of the most famous acts being Celine Dion. The song appeared on her 2003 album ‘One Heart’ and was a top 50 hit.
