Young Thug staged a melodic takeover of the Saturday Night Live stage this weekend.

The Rap star served as the official musical guest on the latest episode of the comedy series, which was hosted by actor Rami Malek.

The gig forms part of a pronounced push for his new album, ‘Punk,’ which arrived this past Friday (October 15).

For SNL, Thugger performed his current single ‘Tick Tock’ and ‘Love You More.’

From The Vault is back this week and salutes another major artist.

Today’s pick is ‘Have You Ever’ by the Vocal Bible herself, Brandy.

Helmed by wordsmith Diane Warren and maestro David Foster, ‘Ever’ was the third single from the artist’s 1998 blockbuster sophomore set ‘Never Say Never.’

Dealing with unrequited love, the ballad returned B-Rocka to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and  Top 20 in the UK – at #13 – after the cultural reset that was the Monica-assisted ‘The Boy Is Mine.’

The song’s visual was directed by Kevin Bray and depicted a lovelorn Brandy house-sitting for her best friend…whom she secretly loves. While he’s away, she walks around his closest and even wears one of his suits.

‘Ever’ was a huge hit on BET, and also on MTV where it was nominated for a Video Music Award in 1999.

With only but a few days to go before Brandy’s TV comeback courtesy of ABC’s ‘Queens,’ we sincerely hope new music is on the horizon for the R&B royal.

While making history as the first Brazilian artist to perform at the MTV VMAs this year, Anitta gave a taste of her single, ‘Girl From Rio,’ to one of its biggest audiences yet.  Now, after building buzz for the song’s parent album (also titled ‘Girl From Rio’), fans are copping a gander at ‘Faking Love’ – the latest tune from the effort getting the single treatment.

Since performing that solo rendition, she’s since lifted a version featuring DaBaby and most recently Saweetie.  Hours after releasing the latter to streaming platforms Friday (October 15), Anitta lifted the cut’s accompanying music video.

Camila Cabello was invited to bring her brigade of hits to help NPR close out their 2021 Hispanic Heritage Month celebration via their wildly popular segment ‘Tiny Desk Concerts.’

Delivering a rousing, cross-cultural performance by lending stripped down renditions of her biggest hits “Havana,” “Señorita,” “Don’t Go Yet,” and more, the acoustic set arrives just days after it was announced those very tunes received certification upgrades from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
