As part of Olivia Rodrigo‘s history-making third studio album, ‘You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,’ the original iteration of the fan-favorite ‘Expectations‘ had already made a notable splash on the Billboard Hot 100 with its #20 debut and peak.

Now, with a Chappell Roan-assisted remix in tow, Rodrigo seems poised to turbo charge the tune’s chart trajectory to rival that of the LP’s preceding singles ‘Drop Dead‘ (#1 peak), ‘Stupid Song‘ (#3 peak), and ‘The Cure‘ (#5 peak).

The amply teased revamp, produced by Liv’s longtime collaborator Daniel Nigro, is not only being supported by an official music video that dropped Thursday (October 15) but also physical editions at retail including CDs, limited-edition 7-inch vinyl, cassettes, and more.

Amid A$AP Rocky‘s ongoing, appetite-whetting teases of ‘Don’t Be Dumb – 2,’ the deluxe follow-up to January’s Billboard 200-topping ‘Don’t Be Dumb,’ the GRAMMY-nominated rapper is giving fans a taste of what they can expect from its anxiously awaited tracklist.

Unveiling the forthcoming project’s lead single, ‘Shroom Clouds,’ on Friday (October 16), longtime followers of Rocky may be familiar with the cut as it was formerly titled ‘Mushroom Clouds’ and began circulating earlier this decade.

“Super stoned, super high/ March, April, May, shroom, July/ Super stoned, super high/ See mushroom clouds in the sky,” he raps over revamped production from Hector Delgado.

After ample teasing of new song ‘Housewife,’ a tune she describes as being about “a woman who can’t be contained,” Thursday (October 15) saw the Canadian hitmaker unleash the cut’s official music video.

“I just wanna make a lot of money be my own housewife / You You You / You could be the one l’m calling honey be my sex on the side,” she sings in the visual shot in the south of France.

Tapping Pierre-Ange Carlotti to direct the clip, ‘Housewife’ comes as the rising Pop diva’s first new song of 2026 and leads the era attached to the follow-up of 2025’s chart-topping ‘So Close to What.’
