Giveon may have scored one of the biggest R&B hits of the year with his breakthrough single ‘Heartbreak Anniversary’ (featured on the GRAMMY-nominated project ‘Take Time‘), and later a Hot 100 #1 single as assistant on Justin Bieber‘s enduring hit, ‘Peaches,’ but that doesn’t mean he’s resting on his laurels.

The 26-year-old is pushing full speed ahead with new single ‘For Tonight,’ a heart-tugging tune about staying in a relationship past its expiration date.

“We’ve been done long before it all begun / still can’t give it up / lead me on but leave before the morning comes / even thought it’s what we want / can’t keep this up for long,” he croons on the Akeel, Jahaan Sweet, and Sevn Thomas-produced track.

To sweeten the deal, the song’s premiere was accompanied by its Sophia Nahli Allison-directed music video. See it inside:

Who knew Kelly Clarkson was sitting on the holiday breakup anthem we didn’t know we needed?

Titled ‘Christmas Isn’t Canceled (Just You),’ the tune was first teased last Wednesday (September 15) when Clarkson took to social media to announce it would arrive the next Thursday (September 23).  Between time, the GRAMMY and EMMY-winning diva unwrapped even more yuletide news when she officially announced the tracklist for her second holiday album – ‘When Christmas Comes Around.’

Among the tracks is ‘Canceled,’ which acts as the first single.

“You ruined all my favorite things (All my favorite things) / But you won’t take Christmas from me,” she wails on the Joseph Trapanese & Jason Halbert-produced tune.

After teaming with Ty Dolla $ign on the rapper-singer’s joint effort with Jeremih (‘Mih-Ty’) and linking with Queen Naija for her warmly received track, ‘Supa Vibe,’ hitmaking producer Hitmaka joins forces with them both for the new song, ‘Quickie.’

“I need somebody who wit it / I need somebody who get it / I need some love in the city / f*ckin’ like Bobby and Whitney,” the GRAMMY-nominated producer raps on the racy new single.

Tapping Hakeem to helm its music video, the Los Angeles-filmed clip and its accompanying tune are about more than what its title alludes.

“The song came together organically. Me and my partner Chrishan cooked up the demo and were in Miami with Ty Dolla $ign. Shortly after we sent it to Queen Naija and it really came together! It’s about wanting to be with someone but not having all the time needed so let’s make the best of these moments,” said Hitmaka.

SZA fans made no secret about their love of the R&B diva’s latest single, ‘The Anonymous Ones,’ upon its delivery a few weeks ago.

As they impatiently await her serially delayed sophomore album, the follow-up to 2017’s ‘CTRL,’ the GRAMMY nominee’s supporters are clinging to whatever material she drops – as evidenced by the fanfare for ‘Anonymous’ as well as her Soundcloud songs (‘Joni’, ‘I Love You’ and ‘Nightbird’).

The former is found aboard the star-studded soundtrack to the film, ‘Dear Evan Hansen,’ which – like its parent project – is due at midnight Friday (September 24).

Ahead of the movie and soundtrack’s respective premieres, SZA tapped Colin Tilley to give her contribution to the album the visual treatment. See the video inside:
