After ample (and often confusing) teasing, Doja Cat has finally given her beloved fans (affectionately called #Kittens) their first taste of what’s set to come on her forthcoming fourth studio album: ‘First Of All.’

Titled ‘Attention,’ the cut’s Friday (June 16) arrival came as a surprise announcement just Tuesday (June 13) and was quickly followed with a video teaser to whet appetites.

“Baby, if you like it, just reach out and pet it / This one doesn’t bite, it doesn’t get aggressive / Show you how to touch it, hold it like it’s precious /It don’t need your lovin’, it just needs attention,” she raps on the Y2K-produced track.

Fulfilling her promise to veer away from the sounds that lined her last two albums, ‘Hot Pink’ and ‘Planet Her,’ look inside to hear and see how Doja kept her word on ‘Attention’ (along with its Tanu Muino-directed music video).

Leigh-Anne Pinnock has unveiled her long-awaited debut solo single ‘Don’t Say Love.’

Serving as the first active member of Little Mix to press play on material of their own, the 31-year-old hits hard on her first swing of the bat.

Produced by Jimmie Gutch, Jon Bellion, and Pete Nappi, the high-octane track (which Pinnock co-wrote) lyrically calls for “something that’s real” after being inundated with the inauthentic.

FLO brought their flavorsome brand of R&B to the stage at the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2023.

Backed by a bevy of dancers, Jorja, Renee, and Stella wowed the capacity crowd at Wembley Stadium with their breakthrough bop ‘Cardboard Box’ and latest single ‘Fly Girl.’

The showing comes on the heels of the trio’s sold-out UK and US tours.

Just days after expressing her desire to remix the Cardi B and Latto-led ‘Put It on Da Floor Again,’ the GRAMMY nominee brought her unmistakable flow to the all-female sequel of the viral Tik Tok hit ‘Keep Dat N***a‘ alongside iCandy, Kali, and Big Boss Vette.

Now, it appears her fellow femcee – Coi Leray – is hoping to follow suit by recruiting even bigger names in the female Rap game for a modern-day take on the 1997 Lil Kim smash ‘Not Tonight-Ladies Night Remix’ (which famously featured Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, Angie Martinez, Missy Elliott, and Da Brat).

In news certain to piss off the racist detractors, Disney’s 2023 live-action remake of the 1989 animated classic ‘The Little Mermaid‘ has not only doubled the original’s box office receipts but has sailed into the top 5 ranking of “most successful films of the year” to date.

And despite the unfavorable reception in Asian markets, the execs at Disney are so pleased with the performance of the Halle Bailey-led flick that they’re giving it an animated spinoff for TV.

After putting the “Rocket City” on the map with its #1 unscripted series ‘Love & Marriage: Huntsville‘ (and following with its top-rated spinoff ‘Love & Marriage: DC‘), OWN is revving up to get a similar response from the “Motor City.”

The network has unveiled a first look at ‘Love & Marriage: Detroit‘ – the latest series to derive from the popular franchise.

Structured much like ‘Huntsville’ and ‘DC’ before it, the Detroit-based iteration of ‘Love & Marriage’ will chronicle the personal and professional highs and lows of three successful Black couples as they navigate life, work, love, and drama.

Jack Harlow‘s surprise third studio album, ‘Jackman,’ may have entered the main Billboard album chart with his lowest first-week sales and placement to date, but that hasn’t deterred the Kentucky native from throwing more support its way.

The ill-fated project (released April 28) has already fallen off the Billboard 200 despite being supported by the critically acclaimed single ‘They Don’t Love It.’  To help turn the tide, Jack gifted another of the LP’s favorites – ‘Gang Gang‘ – the video treatment.

Directed by Eliel Ford, the ‘Gang’ visual – like ‘Love It’ before it – was filmed in Harlow’s hometown of Louisville.
