T-Pain‘s latest single, ‘I Like Dat,’ may have been garnering ample buzz since it’s mid-May unveiling (namely for its clever interpolation of Pain’s own 2007 hit ‘Buy U A Drank’), but – as of time reported – that acclaim has yet to translate into a Hot 100 chart placement.

Ahead of the September release of its parent album, the GRAMMY-winner is looking to turn the tide on the Kehlani-assisted tune’s success narrative by hitting the promo trail in its support.

‘Dat’s first live showing came courtesy of a visit to ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ last week (June 9).  Look inside to see the action if you missed it when it first aired.

The “retroactive cancellation express” has pulled up to Destiny’s Child‘s door.

17 years after the peak of their ‘Destiny Fulfilled’ hit ‘Cater 2 U,’ the trio have learned the song is under scrutiny for lyrics some women deem demeaning while others suggest the Rodney Jerkins-produced track is anti-feminist and anti-progressive in its promotion of subservience.

As news of the unexpected backlash reached the desk of group member/‘Unexpected’ diva Michelle Williams, she took to Instagram to respond.

3LW‘s introductory hit, 2000’s ‘No More (Baby I’ma Do Right),’ may have put Kiely Williams on the map alongside group members Adrienne Bailon and Naturi Naughton, but for Williams the blessing has also come as an enduring curse.

Over the last few years, the song’s resurged in popularity – not because of renewed interest but due to ridicule of her singing (namely the line ‘playa please’).

Fed up with the jokes, the now 34-year-old – hot on the promo trail for her new BET reality show ‘The Encore’ (which premiered June 9) – took to our friends at ET Online recently to combat the longstanding rumor that she has a speech impediment.

Tory Lanez shows off his acting and dancing chops in the cinematic music video for ‘SKAT,’ his long-awaited new duet with chart-topping rapper DaBaby.

Directed by Christian Breslauer, Lanez swerves in and out of the fast lane in the high octane clip as he cruises in stolen cop cars, saddles up as a cowboy in the wild wild West, and later zooms past his co-star in a flashy race car scene.

As if that wasn’t enough action, Tory finishes with a full on remake of the legendary dance breakdown from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video.

Though the critical acclaim is rolling in for Migos‘ long-awaited fourth studio album, ‘Culture III’ (released June 11), industry analysts – as we reported here – are suggesting its first week sales won’t exactly mirror that acclaim.

With news the project is set to be the first of the ‘Culture’ series to miss the top spot on the Billboard 200, the trio are continuing to power promotion of the effort to change the tide. After unveiling the music video for the set’s first single, ‘Straightenin,’ weeks ago, Migos celebrated the LP’s release week with the release of TWO additional visuals – ‘Avalanche’ and ‘Modern Day’ (click here to watch).

Now, they’re back with the Wyatt Winfrey-directed ‘Why Not.’  Look inside to see the boys take to the beach ‘home video’ style for this banger’s official accompanying clip.
