Among the 19 tracks that line Migos long-awaited fourth studio album, ‘Culture III’ (released June 11). the DJ Durel-produced ‘Avalanche’ has been christened the set’s second single – the follow-up to the Hot 100 top 40 hit, ‘Straightenin.’
Launched a day ahead of its parent album’s release, ‘Avalanche’ – which samples The Temptations’ classic ‘Papa Was a Rolling Stone’ – was first introduced via a live performance at ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ Wednesday (June 9). Elements of the performance were then incorporated into the tune’s official music video.
