She’s back!

Not even two months after Megan Thee Stallion announced she was stepping away from the music scene to ‘recharge’ after a whirlwind year of promotion and performing (as we reported here), the GRAMMY winner has lifted the lid on new music.

News about the new song – titled ‘Thot Sh*t’was unveiled earlier this week, much to the delight of the rapper’s dedicated fans (affectionately called #Hotties), and was billed a return to her “Tina Snow” alter ego.

Dishing on the tune in a press release, Stallion revealed ‘Thot Sh*t’ is a cut that “celebrates women unapologetically enjoying themselves, doing whatever they want, whenever they want, regardless of what the critics have to say.”

The Queen of Dancehall Spice has been seasoning up the international music scene with her flavorsome hits – the latest of which is ‘Go Down Deh.’

Trending online for over five weeks, the vibrant video for Sean Paul and Shaggy assisted-track has amassed over 12 million views and shows no signs of slowing down.

The track is lifted from the stage blazer’s forthcoming album ‘TEN,’ which is uniquely her first full-length release despite over a decade in the game.

Armed with the momentum of her latest smash, as well as classics such as ‘So Mi Like It,’ ‘Conjugal Visit,’ and ‘Sheet,’ the Jamaican royal is strutting on with full-steam to the July 30 release of her album debut.

After ample teasing this week, super-producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis have shared their Mariah Carey collaboration: ‘Somewhat Loved (Don’t Go Breakin’ My Heart).’

Across the hip-hop-infused track, Carey sings:

The more I thought about you (the more I thought) / The less I thought about me / And I lost myself in this dream / Somewhat loved (only somewhat)

Previously, Carey had worked with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis on the songs ‘Never Too Far,’ ‘Bliss,’ and ‘Thank God I Found You.’
