Beyond praising the decision, the powerful pair reminded of the work still needed to eradicate the stain of systemic racism.

As lengthy eras go, few contemporary campaigns can rival the potency of Dua Lipa‘s ‘Future Nostalgia.’

A year after its release, the Pop starlet is still pounding the promotional pavement in support of the album – the music from which has been etched at the upper echelon of charts worldwide since its arrival.

Her latest stop was BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. 

Backed by a melodic band, Lipa took vocal flight with fan-favorite ‘Hallucinate,’ latest single ‘We’re Good,’ and a cover of Arlo Parks‘ ‘Eugene.’

Luther Vandross is unquestionably one of the most revered male vocalists in music history.

A singer-songwriter praised for his hits ‘Never Too Much,’ ‘Stop to Love,’ and ‘Give Me the Reason’ as well as his spins on classics ‘A House is Not a Home,’ ‘Superstar,’ ‘So Amazing,’ and ‘If This World Were Mine,’ the GRAMMY winner cemented his legendary status by delivering a bevy of R&B’s most memorable classics.

And while his legacy lacks no laud, dedicated fans would be surprised to know he was never awarded a Platinum plaque for any of the singles he released over his 25-year career.  That changed this week.

After a year when everyone was at home working in their sweats, Rina Sawayama returned to the office to deliver some elegance.

The office in question was Tiny Desk (Home) Concert.

While there, the songbird soared with ‘XS,’ ‘Dynasty,’ and ‘Chosen Family,’ – the latter of which she recruited Elton John for a remix – from her debut album ‘SAWAYAMA.’

Reunited and it feels so good!

5 years after Boosie Badazz and DaBaby joined forces for the tune ‘Baby Jesus,’ the duo are back to bless fans with the music video for their latest musical tag team, ‘Period.’

Directed by Motion Family, the video opens with a disclaimer begging fans not to attempt recreating its stunts featured after a clip of the visual depicting Boosie slapping a man went viral.

Beyond the infamous smack heard ’round the world, look inside to see how Badazz and Baby bring their hilarious and hype antics to a local convenient store.

‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer Demi Lovato is apologizing to detractors who slammed her for recently speaking out against a frozen yogurt shop for its ‘triggering’ diet options, but she didn’t do so without offering clarification around her polarizing statement.

Last week, the GRAMMY nominee maintained no chill as she slammed frozen yogurt shop The Bigg Chill for offering her sugar-free and diet foods that upset her as she’s overcoming an eating disorder.  And though reps from the company responded to her statements to inform her that some of their menu items are intended for diabetics, vegans, and people with other health concerns, Lovato took to social media Monday (April 20) to confirm her intent was not to “bully a small business” but rather to inform them.
