It’s been over two months since Jazmine Sullivan released her long-awaited comeback effort, ‘Heaux Tales’ (click here to stream), yet the project’s still riding high in the Billboard R&B album chart‘s top 10.

Part of the set’s ongoing success is due to the commercial response to its critically acclaimed cuts, ‘Girl Like Me’ and ‘Pick Up Your Feelings.’  The latter has particularly caught on with music lovers, even breaking into the Pop charts to become her first placement on that tally since 2010.

In a bid to build on that momentum and push ‘Pick’ to even higher Hot 100 heights, Sullivan has unveiled the tune’s official music video – a glossy revamp of her stunning live performance at the 2020 Soul Train Awards.

Giveon is the newcomer on everyone’s lips.

The 26-year-old California native is steadily rising on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to the buzz backing his breakthrough single, ‘Heartbreak Anniversary.’ Found at #54 on this week’s chart, the rung comes as the highest he’s reached to date (with his tune ‘Like I Want You’ promising to soon follow suit).

To give the former more momentum, Giveon’s finally unveiled its official music video.  Directed by Salomon Ligthelm, the emotional clip – which premiered Thursday (March 11) – collected over 1 million views in just 24 hours ahead of the release of its parent project’s deluxe edition.

Famed for its unique storyline of chronicling the social lives of Atlanta doctors and doctors’ wives, audiences were easily engaged to and by BRAVO’s ‘Married to Medicine.’ a truth underscored by the show quickly becoming a ratings force for its network.

Yet, despite commanding millions of viewers at the height of its popularity, increased competition from similarly structured programs, shake-ups with the cast, and the unceremonious ousting of fan favorites seemed to be the catalyst for decline in numbers over the last 2 years.

Faithfuls of the Mariah Huq-created show may have had higher hopes for its season 8 premiere on March 7, but Nielsen ratings analysts have dashed them with the final update on the episode’s viewership tally.

Rita Ora is keeping her pedal to the metal in the push for her new EP ‘BANG.’

The joint project with Imanbek has garnered praise aplenty for its pulsating production, catchy hooks, and infectious melodies.

Proving her versatility, Ora strips back the veneer for an acoustic incarnation of the entire EP.

Placing her vocals at the forefront, the set reminds that the Brit-Pop belter is well-equipped to cater to multiple palettes.

Sharon Osbourne has changed her tune.

The Talk anchor made headlines this week when she vented with ample volume in support of her friend Piers Morgan, whose shocking dismissal of Meghan Markle‘s suicidal feelings saw him “leave” popular UK morning show Good Morning Britain. A development that took place against the backdrop of over 41,000 formal complaints about his conduct to UK regulator Ofcom.

With Markle’s claims – which were shared during her and Prince Harry‘s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey – centering on media scrutiny that she and her husband say was racially charged, it sparked a conversation about whether Morgan’s dismissal was rooted in racism.

As Osbourne’s co-host’s attempted to argue that to be true, she erupted in a shocking showing that many felt reeked of privilege and demonstrated a brand of anger that was more concerned with being accused of aligning with racism than demonstrating furor over the actual racism thrown Markle’s way.

See the initial segment that lit the match (most especially the exchange with Sheryl Underwood) and Osbourne’s freshly issued “apology” to the Black community below…
