Your thoughts?

New music from One Direction‘s former members is flying in from all directions.

Next up it’s Liam Payne.

Drawing on his sex appeal, the 23-year-old sent fans into the definition of a frenzy when he uploaded video clip of himself topless bearing a teaser of the track.

Word on the curb is that Payne, who welcomed a son named Bear with British singer Cheryl Cole last month, is joined by Migos on the song and will unwrap it in full later this week.

The clear Urban lean makes for an interesting development in the post-1D narrative. For, while Niall Horan and Harry Styles have embraced Pop and Rock/Pop respectively, Payne’s play sees him bid for the same market share as former band mate Zayn Malik – who too has anchored himself in a more Urban skewed sound.

With both housed under rival labels (Sony/Universal), it should make for a riveting watch as to who comes out atop. As should the collective race between all active 1D vocalists, who are uniquely all releasing within the same window.

Your thoughts?

Another day, another drama for Chris Brown.

According to TMZ, the R&B bad boy is embroiled in another claim of abuse – this time by a photographer.

Per the report, Brown made a paid appearance at Tampa’s Aja Channelside nightclub. Management asserts that their in-house photographer was snapping pics when the singer and his crew arrived in the early hours of the morning. C. Breezy’s team told him to stop.

However, when the same camera man tried to take what he maintains were crowd shots from nearby Chris, the singer spotted him and chaos ensued.

The pap claims Chris hurdled over a couch and punched him in the face while he was cornered.

And there’s footage.

In the cellphone clip below, Chris can be seen in red and his bodyguard in yellow. Someone is clearly getting their Evander Holyfield on in the corner.

By the time police were called, Brown has bounced. The alleged victim shared the snaps below and maintains that he’ll be pressing charges.

Peep the alleged aftermath…

The incident comes on the heels of an expose on Brown’s alleged drug use, violent tendencies, and erratic behavior.

They don’t call him “King Kendrick” for nothing.

In the midst of a sea of singles launched yesterday and today (see:  Zayn, David Guetta/Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey/Remy Ma, Chris Brown, Iggy Azalea, and more), the surprise release of ‘Heart IV’ – the latest chapter of Lamar’s ongoing ‘Heart’ series – rose to the top of the iTunes Top 100 just hours after its release.

Serving as evidence of the high anticipation for its yet-titled parent album, the follow-up to 2015’s ‘To Pimp a Butterfly,’ the ringing response to ‘Heart IV’ is due in great part to social media buzz as listeners wonder who the emcee is dissing in the fiery tune:

After a day full of new music from the likes of Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, and Zayn Malik, the cherry on top has come in a surprise release from King Kendrick Lamar.

The rapper’s highly anticipated fourth installment in his series, ‘The Heart,’ came tonight and is believed to be the official kick off to his next album (which he hints will be released April 7).

Until we find out for sure, tuck in below to hear ‘The Heart Part IV.’
