Cardi B‘s sophomore album ‘Am I the Drama‘ may have already etched her in Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) record books for being the fastest album certified Platinum (less than 24 hours), but now the GRAMMY winner’s one-upped herself after learning the set’s been pushed to double Platinum status.

Bad Bunny hopped to the top of headlines on Sunday (September 28) after the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation dropped jaws with the announcement the Reggaeton and Trap hitmaker will serve as the 2026 headliner of the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

And while for some Bunny was a clear choice given that he’s the most-streamed Latin artist in history, some divided critics pointed to the singer-rapper’s limited English, relatively short career (compared to previous headliners), and modest number of hits in America as a reason to give the appointment a thumbs down.

Undeterred by the naysayers, a few of the folks involved with making the decision – including rapper, music mogul, and Roc Nation CEO JAY-Z – are standing proudly by their choice.

Sabrina Carpenter‘s latest album, ‘Man’s Best Friend,’ soared to the top of the Billboard 200 earlier this month with some of the year’s biggest opening figures due in great part to its megahit singles ‘Manchild‘ and ‘Tears.’

While the former climbed to the Hot 100’s summit the week of its arrival to the chart, the latter debuted and peaked at #3 on the same tally.

Albeit an impressive premiere, Carpenter – undoubtedly making bids to help ‘Tears’ reach the success of its predecessor – followed its arrival with a stunning live performance on the MTV VMAs and the unveiling of its official behind the scenes video.

Mariah Carey‘s not one to bite her tongue on most topics, and her complicated relationship with the GRAMMYs has proven no exception.

Having only won 6 of the music industry’s highest honor from 34 nominations over her 35-year career, Carey’s losses at the award show are nothing short of historic – particularly when her 1995 critically acclaimed ‘Daydream‘ album lost out six times in one night.

Just a month after making headlines for calling the ceremony “overrated,” the diva is back in the news for claiming the GRAMMYs “pushed her out.”

“Some nights you dance with tears in your eyes / Some days you smile with pain in your heart / Is peaceful in the eye of the storm / I kill the chaos rip the weight from my heart / Stumbling in the dark for a cure / Somehow i know there’s gotta be more but so… I RIP,” he wails over the adventurous track.

‘The Man in My Basement’ has been drumming up buzz on a global scale.

Led by Corey Hawkins and Willem Dafoe, the Nadia Latif-directed film tells the gripping story of Charles Blakey, a man forced into a morally complex arrangement that challenges his understanding of power, responsibility, and survival.

Based on Walter Mosley’s acclaimed novel, the reimagined incarnation pairs powerhouse performances with Latif’s striking vision of tension in confined spaces.

That Grape Juice’s Nadia M caught up with Hawkins, who spoke on stepping into such a layered role and the wider themes of the movie, as well as Latif, who unpacked her approach to building atmosphere, guiding her cast, and ensuring the story leaves audiences questioning long after the credits roll.
