Kesha is back with her latest single.
Titled ‘Joyride’ the song was released on July 4, or Independence Day in the United States to celebrate Kesha becoming an Independent artist after previously being signed to RCA Records and Kemosabe Records.
The song is a sonic departure from her last album, ‘Gag Order.’ Where that was experimental, ‘Joyride,’ is a an electro-banger perfectly timed to summer, and is a callback to early hits like ‘Tik Tok.’
She has plenty of quotable lyrics throughout the song, like: “You want kids? Well I am mother” and “Are you a man? ‘Cause I’m a b**ch.”
