Queen Naija is looking to reign atop R&B charts again with new song ‘Pack Lite.’

An ode to Erykah Badu‘s GRAMMY-nominated 2000 hit ‘Bag Lady,’ Naija tells the story of a love-gone-wrong while encouraging her former beau to hit the road.

“I done had my share of being walked all over / now I’m smarter You can think you right all you want I see you through you just like water,” she coos. “You can go ‘head puff up your chest but it bet not go no further.”

Pluto and Baby Pluto, better known as chart-topper rappers Future and Lil Uzi Vert, had fans buzzing at reports they were shooting a joint music video.

Now, it appears the murmurs surrounding the visual were true as the duo have released two new songs:  ‘Patek’ and ‘Over Your Head.’

Fans who enjoyed Vert’s appearance on Future’s latest Billboard 200 chart-topping album, ‘High Off Life,’ will certainly enjoy the new double dose of duets.

Efforts to erode Ellen DeGeneres‘ TV reign seem to be working.

After years of murmurs and arguably baseless tales of backstage bullying, this year brought with it an investigation into the star’s hit talk show and stories from a group of workers who say that their lives were ruined by a culture of calamity and a soiree of shenanigans!

Today, another employee has stepped out of the dark to reveal that her time on the show was unpleasant, and reveals that she once saw the talk show host giggle when one of her employees was attacked by a producer.

From ‘Love & Hip Hop’ to ‘Love & Basketball,’ Atlanta reality star Mimi Faust has seen a number of her romantic travails fail under the scrutiny of the public eye.

However, it appears she’s a nabbed winner with WNBA player Tamera Young (also known as Ty Young).

Taking to Instagram recently, the latter announced she and Faust were officially engaged.

She’s known by many as the Queen of Gospel, but getting Mahalia Jackson‘s storied life adapted into movie form has been nothing but a royal pain.

The previously planned biopic, which pegged powerhouse singer Fantasia to assume the role of Jackson, was reportedly halted due to unfavorable news in the GRAMMY winner’s personal life (click here to read more). Since then, the film’s hit a number of bumps on production’s road including financing, the Gospel legend’s family members causing delays, actresses tapped for the title being dismissed, and more.

However, after seeing the success of The Clark Sisters biopic on Lifetime (click here to read more), resident ‘Good Morning America’ anchor Robin Roberts has taken up the charge of bringing Jackson’s life to the small screen.

Taylor Swift‘s ‘Folklore’ is the music news story on everyone’s lips.

Mariah Carey and Eminem dating rumors have made their rounds on social media for a long time, but no media outlet was able to confirm the romance.

Days before Beyonce released the universally praised ‘Black is King‘, her father/former manager Mathew Knowles spoke with the ‘We Sound Crazy Podcast’ to share never-before-heard stories about the group and its fascinating story.

There, he revealed that the band was not the first act he enjoyed major label success with, and prised a long-hidden song recorded by the group from his vault to share it with the podcast’s hosts.
