The mogul has appeared on the cover of every issue of The Oprah Magazine for more than 20 years.

However, she’s using the September edition of the lifestyle publication to spotlight the need for justice for Breonna Taylor – the unarmed Black woman who lost her life at the hands of police.

Azealia Banks used Instagram’s stories feature to share her thoughts on her old friend/present foe Lana Del Rey after seeing a recent image of her out and about in public.

Unfortunately, Banks’ remarks were anything but friendly and saw her reveal that she believes that a supposed change in the singer’s appearance may have been brought out by karma- and as far as she sees it- overeating.

Beyonce is joining the millions in her BeyHive to countdown the release of her hotly anticipated visual album ‘Black Is King.’

Set to premiere on Disney+ at midnight (July 31), the movie is billed as Queen Bey’s love letter to Africa and is anchored in the music on her compilation ‘The Lion King: The Gift.’

As buzz reaches fever pitch, the superstar singer is opening up about the concept of the project, its creative process, and what viewers can expect to see.

Just as mellow as it was exciting and charismatic, Alicia Keys‘The Diary of Alicia Keys‘ saw the artist invite fans into a world powered by tales of new love, power, ‘Karma‘ and passion served on a bed of Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop, Soul & R&B.

The album was released on December 2nd 2003 and featured contributions made by Kanye West, Kerry Brothers Jr, Dre & Vidal and Taneisha Smith.

17 years later, Alicia revisits the set with a performance designed to honour its deepest cuts.

Beyonce has whipped the BeyHive into even more of a frenzy about ‘Black Is King.’

The hotly anticipated visual album premieres on Disney+ tomorrow (July 31) and promises to be an epic affair.

Moments ago, Queen Bey unleashed a brand new extended trailer showing more from the film that she bills as celebration of blackness and her love letter to Africa.

Based on her critically acclaimed compilation ‘The Lion King: The Gift,’ the flick will bring to life music from the project – including ‘Already,’ ‘Brown Skin Girl,’ ‘Mood 4 Eva,’ and – per this fresh teaser – new song ‘Black Parade.’

Oh boy is exactly what spectators were saying once they copped a gander at the Instagram tussle between rapper Cam’ron and comedian Faizon Love earlier this week.

It all started when Love accused JAY-Z of being fake and fabricating his drug-dealing past.  Once Cam got wind of the funnyman’s comments, he came to his former Roc-a-fella friend’s defense. What ensued afterward was an all-out war.

Last week, ‘Say So’ hitmaker Doja Cat sent fans into a frenzy of sympathy when she revealed she’d contracted COVID-19 (as we reported here).

Suggesting she came in contact with coronavirus from a ‘Postmates order,’ the 24-year-old spoke candidly about her symptoms but was quick to assure her followers she was fine now.

On stage, TV, and film, Tiffany Haddish may be used to bringing the funny but the EMMY winner recently got serious when addressing topics of racial injustice.

Taking to Carmelo Anthony‘s web series ‘What’s In Your Glass’ earlier this week (July 27), the 40-year-old detailed her activism in relation to the wave of Black Lives Matter protests that have swept the globe over the past two months.

The conversation led Haddish to break down when addressing how racism has not only made her nervous to become a mom, but also played directly into her fears about life as a parent.

“I’m a little older now and people are always asking when I’m gonna have some babies,” the comedienne stated before becoming teary-eyed.  “I would hate to give birth to someone that looks like me … knowing that they’re gonna be hunted or killed.”
