Frank Ocean is officially back!

As we reported here, the Grammy winning singer-songwriter previewed new music at the opening of a queer club intended to pay “homage to what could have been of the 1980s’ NYC club scene if (HIV prevention drugs) had been invented in that era.”  With fans assuming his new music would be dropping in the next few weeks, Ocean pulled a fast one and unveiled it just moments ago via his radio show.

With career-spanning hits in tow, Kelly Rowland rocked Sydney with a performance at The Everest 2019 on Saturday (October 19).

Drawing a crowd of thousands who were also on hand for the annual Royal Randwick Races, the ‘Kisses Down Low’ singer headed Down Under donning a form-fitting black leotard as she cranked out her solo songs ‘Like This,’ ‘Commander,’ ‘When Love Takes Over,’ and even Destiny’s Child hits ‘Bootylicious,’ ‘Independent Women,’ and more.

The last year has seen Kash Doll added to the list of ‘must-hear female rappers’ thanks to her previous efforts ‘Brat Mail’ and ‘The Vault.’  The critical acclaim from those projects not only led to award nominations and increased calls for collaborations, but it also catalyzed anticipation for her first LP.

After drumming up buzz aplenty earlier this week with the surprise announcement of their long-awaited reunion (as we reported here), The Clark Sisters are back with a vengeance courtesy of their new single, ‘Victory.’

Acting as the first release from the legends’ forthcoming LP – soon to hit shelves courtesy of a joint venture between Karew Entertainment and Motown Gospel – the tune was unveiled in full on Erica Campbell‘s radio show, ‘Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell’ on Friday (October 18).

Chatting it up with the Grammy-winning hostess, the group’s stars Twinkie, Karen, and Dorinda (Jacky was absent from the interview) used the platform to not only dish about their new song, but also the inspiration behind their reunion, their forthcoming Lifetime biopic, and so much more.

The original Sugababes made their triumphant return to TV moments ago when they took to the stage on the Graham Norton Show. 

Mutya, Keisha, and Siobhan joined DJ Spoony to perform ‘Flowers,’ which is lifted from his new compilation ‘Garage Classical.’

The showing serves as the first televised effort from the trio in the six years since they initially reformed as MKS.

When speaking with host Norton, the ladies confirmed there are exciting 2020 plans ahead.

Emmy-nominated actress, writer, producer, and comedienne Issa Rae continues to prove herself a mistress of many trades as evidenced by the unveiling of Raedio – a new label co-founded by the 34-year-old. Developed in partnership with Atlantic Records, the label was designed to extend a platform across media to align acts with film and television projects, commercials, podcasts, and beyond.
Speaking on the joint venture, Rae said:
“Music has always been an essential part of every project I do and working with emerging talent is a personal passion. Raedio allows me to continue that work within the music industry and audio entertainment space. The Atlantic Records team are innovators in terms of shifting and shaping culture. I’m excited to join forces with them to discover new artists.”
