From epic showings of ‘Queen of the Night’ to ‘I Will Always Love You,’ ‘I Have Nothing,’ and more, Jennifer Hudson has had no shortage of tributes to her idol Whitney Houston over the years.
The EGOT-winning songstress added a slew of other Houston favorites to her repertoire on Saturday (August 9) when she took to Atlanta’s St. Regis Hotel to perform at the annual Legacy of Love Gala hosted in the late Pop icon’s honor.
Held on what would’ve been Whitney’s 62nd birthday, this year’s festivities also honored the diva’s 40 years in music and entertainment since the 1985 arrival of her eponymous debut album.
In celebration of said history-making LP, Hudson performed a medley of hits from it including ‘How Will I Know’ and ‘Saving All My Love for You’ – the latter of which was captured on video by attendees.
