After gifting the four singles Been Like This,’ ‘To the Moon,’ ‘I Wanna Thank Me,’ and Whoops to her beloved fans (affectionately called #MegaTronz), Meghan Trainor finally lifted the lid on the tunes’ parent album – ‘Timeless‘ – on Friday (June 7).

The follow-up to 2022’s ‘Takin It Back,’ ‘Timeless’ (Trainor’s sixth major-label studio effort) is a 16-song set that not only features Niecy Nash and T-Pain among its high-profile features but also songwriting and production contributions from the likes of Federico Vindver, Gian Stone, Emiloy Warren, and more.

As if the new album isn’t enough to celebrate, #MegaTronz will get to hear some of the cuts live when Meghan embarks on The Timeless Tour in September – her first headlining concert in over 7 years.

It’s hard to believe two decades separate America from becoming acquainted with Fantasia as the winner of ‘American Idol’ in 2004, but 20 years later the global R&B superstar reveals she still has a special place in her heart for the talent show juggernaut.

Taking to the red carpet of the show’s season 22 finale on Sunday (May 20), Fannie not only gave this year’s victor Abi Carter some words of advice but also reflected on her own journey since being crowned the competition’s champion.

“It doesn’t feel like 20 years. Every time someone says that, my heart drops,” she shared. “[But] there’s been good, there’s been bad, but I was so young, and so my thing is I want to let the young people [on this season] know… make sure you have a great team and enjoy it. Don’t take it too serious.”

That’s not all she said.

With the hit single ‘Whatever She Wants’ in tow (his first solo Hot 100 top 20 smash since 2015), rapper-singer Bryson Tiller has lifted the lid on its eponymous parent project – ‘Bryson Tiller.’

Hitting digital shelves on Friday (April 5), the 19-track concept album – his first studio effort since 2020’s ‘Anniversary‘ peaked in the Billboard 200 top 5 – boasts guest appearances from Clara La San and GRAMMY-winning R&B diva Victoria Monet.

Ahead of the delivery of ‘Tiller,’ Bryson announced plans to bring some of the new tracks to live stages across North America via a self-titled tour.

As the credits have rolled on the Queen Latifah-hosted 55th annual NAACP Image Awards, which aired Saturday (February 25) on BET, eyes are turning to the event’s truest star:  its coveted trophies.
