The Parkwood Entertainment performer is stepping into the spotlight on her own accord, having risen to promises as part of a duo with her sister Halle.
As reported, she’ll be blazing at the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards with her launch single ‘Have Mercy’ and, in this new feature, she reveals its parent album isn’t far behind.
Speaking candidly, the 23-year-old described the project as “definitely more Pop” and “is 90%.”

Good news for ‘Bad Habits’ hitmaker Ed Sheeran!
After a lengthy break following the gargantuan success of his third and fourth studio albums, 2017’s ‘Divide’ and 2019’s ‘No.6 Collaborations Project,’ Sheeran burst back onto the music scene with new single ‘Habits’ (released June 25).
Since its unveiling, the song has dominated real-time sales tallies and streaming alike – a combo that’s granted it a handsome debut on the Hot 100. Although initially predicted to be a contender for the tally’s summit (as we reported here), the premiere position of ‘Bad’ wasn’t bad at all.
