‘Bust Down Thotiana’ beauty Cardi B is the latest to come down on Jussie Smollett for the drama caused by his alleged attack.

As critics continue to weigh in on news that the ‘Empire’ actor/singer not only staged but also planned and paid the attackers to commit the assault (as we reported here), Cardi took to social media to weigh in on the hoop-la.  Expressing disappointment for the media circus surrounding the event, the Grammy-winner also tried to remain objective during her rant:

‘Until he say it out his mouth that it was fake and the shit was staged, I don’t want to completely blame him, because somebody I was talking to they said police in Chicago are racists. So they might probably try to frame him and make him look like he’s a liar. But if he’s not, than bro you fucked up, for real. Like, why would you do that?’

2019’s only two months in and has already proven itself the best year of Ariana Grande‘s career.

Beyond ringing it in with the first Hot 100 chart-topper of the year, ‘thank u, next,’ the songstress followed by earning another one in the form of the Victoria Monet-penned, ‘7 Rings.’  Both tunes, found aboard her fifth studio album (also titled ‘thank u, next’) certainly increased anticipation for the gems that would accompany them aboard their parent project.

Evidence of that was found by the mass consumption of the LP upon its debut on February 8th.  As we reported here, the set was initially predicted to shift between 320,000-345,000 copies its first week alone.  With its inaugural tallying week now in its rearview, Billboard’s not only confirmed ‘thank’ will reign atop the Billboard 200 this week, but that’s come on the back of some record breaking streaming figures.

The result?  Ari’s nabbed the best first week sales of her career to date.  Details inside:

Much like the Super Bowl, the NBA All-Star Game’s musical guest stars are just as talked about as the teams vying for the championship.  Unlike this year’s Super Bowl, the Charlotte-hosted NBA All-Star Game was far from disappointing with its rocking introductory and halftime show performers.

After Meek Mill rocked the mic with a fiery medley of hits, North Carolina native J. Cole delivered the heat with live performances of his latest hit, ‘Middle Child,’ ‘A Lot,’ and more.
