Well, damn!  As if pissing off ABC, her former castmates, Hulu, and TV Land wasn’t enough (click here to read more), embattled comedienne Roseanne Barr can now add Sanofi – the creator of the popular sleeping drug Ambien – to her list of offended.

Taking to Twitter after her ongoing backlash reached a boiling point (despite previously promising to leave the social media platform), the actress issued another apology while blaming her racist behavior on the drug.

“…guys I did something unforgiveable so do not defend me. It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting — it was memorial day too — i went 2 far & do not want it defended — it was egregious Indefensible. I made a mistake I wish I hadn’t but…don’t defend it please.”“Not giving excuses for what I did(tweeted) but I’ve done weird stuff while on ambien — cracked eggs on the wall at 2am etc.”

Needless to say, Ambien makers weren’t exactly appreciative of the implied diss.  Their response inside:

Camila Cabello crowns a year of solo success with a coveted Rolling Stone cover.

The 21-year-old shooting star appears a front of the magazine’s latest issue; and while  she makes for an arresting sight, her feature within the publication’s inner-pages is equally as compelling.

While celebrating racking up a billion streams of her music, she also recounts more challenging times – including her acrimonious split from Fifth Harmony and the pre-release drama surrounding break-out hit ‘Havana.’

Drake may have shaken the table with his ‘Duppy Freestyle,’ but rival Pusha T is looking to flip it over with clapback ‘The Story Of Adidon.’

A three minute massacre (rapped over the beat of Jay-Z’s ‘Story Of O.J)’, the diss track sees the G.O.O.D Music star fire from all cylinders. He throws jabs at Drizzy over being a deadbeat dad of a secret baby (birthed by a porn star); takes aim at Aubrey’s mom and dad, mocks Noah Shebib‘s battle with multiple sclerosis.

Here’s some of the heat Pusha unleashed…

“A baby is involved, it’s deeper than rap
We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts
You are hiding a child, let that boy come home
Deadbeat motherf*cker playing border patrol
Adonis is your son and he deserves more than an Adidas press run
Love that baby, respect that girl.  Forget she’s a porn star, let her be your world.”

Listen to the song, which has an interesting cover (to say the least) below…

Well, that was fun while it lasted.

After two weeks of holding Drake‘s megahit, ‘Nice for What,’ at bay with his socially conscious tune, ‘This Is America,’ actor-singer-rapper Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) has ceded the Hot 100’s top spot back to the Canadian rapper.

With a handsome combo of streaming, radio airplay, and downloads to thank for the accomplishment, Drizzy’s return to the tally’s perch has granted its fifth non-consecutive week (having spent four of them from its debut until its dethronement by Gambino).

The Barr backlash continues!

Embattled comedienne Roseanne and her castmates on the show that bears her name are all collectively paying the price for its star’s racist tendencies ill-timed and ill-received jokes on Twitter earlier today (click here to read more).  Taking to the social media platform to refer to Valerie Jarrett, the former senior adviser to President Barack Obama, as the baby of the “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes,” the 65-year-old actress set off a firestorm of controversy – a fury that prompted a quick apology from her.

Unfortunately for her the bid for forgiveness was too little, too late.  ABC, the parent network to the wildly popular ‘Roseanne’ show reboot, immediately distanced itself from the comedienne by not only denouncing the cruel commentary but also cancelling the hit show.

As if that wasn’t enough, other networks and streaming platforms that aired the show (or its original) are following suit:

Mark those calendars, because ‘Insecure’ returns to HBO on August 12th.

Now in its third season, the Issa Rae dramedy has resonated with audiences thanks to its frank take on the Afro-American experience – particularly romantic relations.

Its male stars are a key component of this and they’ve banded together to plug the upcoming season with a thirst-trap shoot for GQ.

Gym themed, the tongue-in-cheek shoot sees Jay Ellis, Y’Lan Noel, Sarunas Jackson, Wade Allain-Marcus, and Neil Brown Jr stretch and flex.
