Christmas may have come early for Lizzo recently when she learned she snagged five major GRAMMY Award nominations including Song, Record, and Album of the Year for the show’s 2023 ceremony, but it appears she’s the one imparting unexpected gifts to her beloved fans (affectionately called #Lizzbians).

Teaming with Amazon, which also serves as the home of her EMMY-winning show ‘Watch out for the Big Grrrls,’ Liz leads the year’s slew of celebs contributing to the platform’s annual Holiday Original Songs series.  Other big names include Kane Brown, Giveon, and more.

“I chose to cover ‘Someday at Christmas’ not just because it’s a classic, but because it’s a reminder to us that almost 60 years later, we are still fighting for peace, compassion, and equality,” Lizzo said in a statement. “A friendly reminder to spread love and kindness this holiday season.”

After Tamera Mowry-Housley scored top ratings and critical acclaim with three previous Hallmark holiday films (2019’s ‘Christmas Miracle,’ 2020’s ‘Christmas Comes Twice,’ and 2021’s ‘Santa Stakeout’), the EMMY winner is hoping for a royal redo of that success with her fourth yuletide venture with the network: ‘Inventing the Christmas Prince.’

Also starring Mark Brandon and Mercedes Blanche, ‘Prince’ sees Mowry-Housley portray a rocket engineer who’s about to call it quits at her job until her daughter (Blanche) intervenes with a fantasy that convinces her that her mom’s ‘Scrooge-like boss’ (Brandon) is the real-life incarnation of the ‘Christmas prince’ – a character the young girl made up.

Does the madness that ensue turn Tamera’s boss to her boo?  There’s only one way to find out.

The late Nipsey Hussle is getting a docuseries about him.

According to Deadline, the series features archival footage of Hussle as well as interviews with those who were closest to the GRAMMY-winner.

Additionally, it will feature his life from childhood all the way to his turn as one of the most notable music figures in recent years.

The upcoming series was directed and produced by Emmy-nominated director One9. Hussle’s children (James, Carter, Jamal Henderson, and Philip Bryon) also serve as executive producers.

Set to arrive sometime in 2023, the series is coming from LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Company as well as Hussle’s Marathon Films.

‘If I Could Turn Back Time’ hitmaker Cher had time Sunday (November 6) to clap back at detractors weighing in on her relationship.

The 76-year-old Pop icon went public recently with her new 36-year-old boyfriend, Amber Rose‘s ex-beau/music executive Alexander “AE” Edwards, after the two were photographed holding hands in West Hollywood.

Since then comments have flooded the actress-singer’s social media timelines with commenters pointing out everything from the lovebirds’ 40-year age difference to her penchant of dating younger guys over the years.

Having had enough of the hoopla, Cher took to Twitter to offer her own comment in response to the naysayers.

Camila Cabello may be rocking TV ratings as a judge and coach on NBC’s ‘The Voice,’ but the life experiences she’s had in her short 25 years of life prove she may be suited to coach matters in- and outside of the entertainment spectrum.

As the guest on Tuesday’s ‘Drew Barrymore Show’ (October 18), Cabello imparted some sweet words of wisdom to the audience while baking a sweet treat with the talk show’s EMMY-nominated host.

After 7 years of imparting his unmistakable brand of comedic commentary on everything from political happenings, Pop culture, social issues, and more as host of Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show,’ comedian Trevor Noah announced Thursday (September 29) he is bidding the show adieu.

And while it’s not immediately clear what’s next for the EMMY winner, many think his future will be filled with days and nights alongside ‘Future Nostalgia’ star Dua Lipa.

Music fans were stunned Wednesday (September 28) after reports rang out about the death of Hip-Hop veteran Coolio.

The GRAMMY winner, most famous for hits ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ and ‘Fantastic Voyage,’ was found dead at age 59.  His manager, Jarez Posey, confirmed the news.

And while it’s not yet been reported what the official cause of death was, the rapper’s fans and celebrity friends and admirers flooded social media with condolences.

Dreamgirls unite!

As EGOT-winning superstar Jennifer Hudson continues to enjoy a critically acclaimed run on daytime TV with her new talk show, ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show,’ she’s making headlines for creating magical moments with some of Hollywood’s biggest names.

Fresh from her historic EMMY win at the 2022 ceremony, TV and stage icon Sheryl Lee Ralph stopped by Hudson’s show Tuesday (September 20) to to not only discuss the award show triumph but also season 2 of ABC’s hit series ‘Abbott Elementary,’ her legendary career, and so much more.

The singer-actresses couldn’t conclude their chat without paying homage to ‘Dreamgirls,’ however, because it was ultimately the vehicle that put them both on the map as Ralph portrayed the original “Deena” in its 1981, TONY-winning stageplay edition while Hudson nabbed Oscar gold for her performance as “Effie” in the 2006 movie version.
