Christmas may have come early for Lizzo recently when she learned she snagged five major GRAMMY Award nominations including Song, Record, and Album of the Year for the show’s 2023 ceremony, but it appears she’s the one imparting unexpected gifts to her beloved fans (affectionately called #Lizzbians).
Teaming with Amazon, which also serves as the home of her EMMY-winning show ‘Watch out for the Big Grrrls,’ Liz leads the year’s slew of celebs contributing to the platform’s annual Holiday Original Songs series. Other big names include Kane Brown, Giveon, and more.
“I chose to cover ‘Someday at Christmas’ not just because it’s a classic, but because it’s a reminder to us that almost 60 years later, we are still fighting for peace, compassion, and equality,” Lizzo said in a statement. “A friendly reminder to spread love and kindness this holiday season.”
