The stars aligned for the 2023 edition of ‘The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration,’ which aired on ABC on Sunday (November 26).

Filmed from various Disney-owned locations including the Disneyland Resort in California, Disneyland Paris, and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, the Derek and Julianne Hough-hosted event courted appearances and performances from Mickey Guyton, DJ Khaled, Ariana DeBose, Robin Thicke, Michael Bolton, Andra Day, Adam Blackstone, and many more.

A standout from the night definitely came from the knockout renditions of ‘This Christmas’ and ‘Winter Wonderland’ rendered by GRAMMY-winning songstress Tori Kelly.

The Tyla takeover continues!

As if earning her first Hot 100 top 10 placement with the breakout hit, ‘Water,’ wasn’t enough to celebrate, the 21-year-old made her American daytime TV debut courtesy of a visit to ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ on Monday (November 27).

When not teaching the EGOT winner how to do the famous ‘Water dance’ that’s taken Tik Tok by storm, Tyla dished on the importance of representing her homeland (South Africa), her meteoric rise to fame, and so much more.

‘The Color Purple’ musical is definitely shaping up to be one of the year’s most highly anticipated entertainment events, but so is its star-studded companion album.

Lined with contributions from the film’s stars Fantasia, H.E.R., Ciara, Taraji P. Henson, Colman Domingo, Danielle Brooks, and Halle Bailey as well as original tunes from big names like Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Megan Thee Stallion, Usher, Keyshia Cole, Coco Jones, Mary Mary, and Missy Elliott, the soundtrack is set to sail to streaming services on December 15.

Ahead of the arrival of the Quincy Jones-executive produced project, its first single – ‘Lifeline‘ by Alicia Keys – has hit digital outlets.

GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Jacob Collier recruited some heavy hitters for his latest single, ‘Witness Me.’

In addition to nabbing help from fellow English chart-topper Stormzy, ‘Witness’ features contributions from Canadian hitmaker Shawn Mendes and Gospel icon Kirk Franklin.
