SZA thought it was just the right time to give fans an accompanying visual for her tune, ‘Broken Clocks.’

The cut, found aboard her platinum debut album, ‘CTRL,’ has long been a fan favorite and will certainly cement its place as such with the new clip to support it.

Directed by SZA and Dave Free, the Grammy-nominee tapped labelmate ScHoolboy Q to co-star in the video designed to salute the songstress’s childhood.

This, of course, before things get lit at the strip club! See it all inside:

Katy Perry‘s latest album, ‘Witness,’ may have been universally panned on the critical and commercial front but that certainly hasn’t stopped the pop diva from looking to turn that tide.

Yes, she is keeping busy promoting ‘American Idol’ in the U.S., but while the show’s currently airing its pre-taped episodes Perry hopped across the pond to Japan to give them a live version of ‘Witness’ bonus cut, ‘Act My Age.’ Fans familiar with the tune remember it is featured on the Target-only/international/deluxe edition of the LP.

The performance came just minutes before the Grammy-nominee participated in a game where she forced several chicken nuggets in her mouth.  The feat, one of the more awkward televised moments of the 33-year-old’s career, almost induced vomit – undoubtedly giving the singer a glimpse into the feels some of her ‘Witness’ era content imposed on listeners.

Just like we reported here, ‘Lip Sync Battle’ braced itself for a British takeover on this week’s episode thanks to some rockin’ performances from beauties Charli XCX & Rita Ora.

While Charli turned heads with her spirited tribute to Ed Sheeran and his 2017 monster hit ‘Shape of You,’ Ora took it back to 1997 to rock the stage with the Spice Girls‘ introductory smash single, ‘Wannabe.’

Both ladies definitely had the crowd moving, but only one could be crowned the winner.  Look inside to judge for yourself:

Thanks to his longtime songwriting partner Bernie Taupin, a collection of today’s biggest music stars joined forces to create two tribute albums to music legend Elton John.

While Taupin curated one of the albums (titled ‘Restoration’), the 8-time Grammy winner organized the other (‘Revamp’) and tapped some of his former collaborators to lend their voices to the star-studded project.  In addition to the likes of Ed Sheeran, Mary J. Blige, Miley Cyrus, P!nk, Sam Smith, and more, John’s favorite gal pal – Lady Gaga – brought her powerhouse vocals to his tune, ‘Your Song.’

The emotional, piano driven number shot to the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10 upon its 1970 arrival (eventually peaking at #8), but if you asked us Gaga’s spirited rendition deserves just as enthusiastic of a reception.

Never ceasing to amaze, get inside to hear ‘Your Song’ as delivered by Stefanie Germanotta:

Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

So, as our retrospective features ‘From the Vault’ and ‘TGJ Replay’  allow us the chance to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday of one artist, our newest feature Chart Rewind – a variation of our current Retro Rewind assay – accedes salutes to an entire era of music history.

In honor of her 32nd birthday (March 28), this week we’ll call on Lady Gaga‘s 2010 megahit ‘Telephone.’ Originally penned for and later passed on by Britney Spears, Gaga eventually took the reins on the Darkchild-produced tune and consulted industry gal pal/‘Video Phone’ co-star Beyonce to support.  The result?  Absolute slayage.

With a fierce short music film to assist, the song debuted in the top 30 in early December 2009.  By March 2010, it was already in the top 10 (where it peaked at #3 this week that year).  Becoming Gaga’s sixth consecutive top 10 hit and Beyonce’s 14th as a solo artist, the tune would go on to nab a Grammy nod and sell an impressive 3.5 million copies in the United States alone.

Slide down memory lane with this triple platinum hit inside:
