Renowned for her fierce fashions, Runway RiRi drives in a more demure direction with the shoot – which was lensed by Mario Sorrentini. 

Billed as a celebration of the 31-year-old’s multi-dimensional success, she said of the special edition:

“For me, this very special issue of i-D represents change and culture. It is dedicated to some of the people who are progressively reshaping the communities across fashion, music, art and activism – creating a more inclusive and diverse future.”

Choreography is helmed by Fatima Robinson, whose credits include ‘Dreamgirls,’ Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, and Aaliyah.

It’s been nearly four years since Meghan Trainor took a trip to the Billboard 200’s upper rankings with her sophomore album, ‘Thank You,’ but fans impatient for a new body of work from the 26-year-old will be saying ‘thank you’ when she releases her forthcoming album, ‘Treat Myself,’ on January 31.

Preceded by traditional and promotional singles ‘Wave,’ ‘Workin’ On It,’ and ‘Evil Twin,’ the set’s content – albeit critically acclaimed – has not seen that fanfare mirrored commercially as all of its releases have missed the Hot 100 entirely (a predicament she addressed in an interview seen here).
