Mona Scott Young scores yet another hit for VH1 – this time in the form of the Omarion & Ray J-led cast of ‘Love & Hip Hop:  Hollywood.’

Bringing in a whopping 2.8 million viewers, no other program (sans Monday night football) tallied as many viewers in the adult age range of 18-49.  This victory comes just days after reports surfaced online that ‘Hollywood’s parent show – ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,’ saw its finale top ratings tallies across the board (even putting the Kardashians to shame).

While it remains to be seen if the show will keep its momentum, one is clear is that it may need to rub some of its good luck off on talk show ‘The Real.’ For, if reports are to be believed, they need it:

Not even an all-star line up with the two of the most talked about booties in the industry – that of Jennifer Lopez‘s and Nicki Minaj‘s – were enough to resurrect the ratings of Fashion Rocks.

Taking a 6 year hiatus from television, the showing that aims to marry the hottest music with the hottest trends in fashion – fell flat with reports of less than half the ratings attributed to its 2008 showing.

Could it signal an end for the show?

For, as work begins on its LA follow-up, the series has welcomed yet another ratings win this week, following the brief return of original cast member K.Michelle.

Having achieved ample success on the big screen, Halle Berry is tasting the rewards of the small screen too with new show ‘Extant’.

The ambitious series, which follows the life of an infertile astronaut who returns to earth pregnant after a year long stint in space, kicked off on CBS yesterday and commanded a large audience in the process.

As earlier reported, The Boondocks charged back onto the small screen this week for its final run after a four year hiatus.

Prior to its comeback, the Adult Swim hit had been the subject of many a headline – following the sudden and unexplained departure of creator Aaron McGruder.

It appears, however, that (at this point) the controversy has helped the show rather than hindered.

Lasting on Bravo’s hit show ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ may have proved too big of a task for some Southern belles, but it would seem NeNe Leakes‘ run on the show is unlikely to ever falter…much to the dismay of her ever vocal naysayers.
