The set dropped yesterday and brings with it a lighter, brighter and bolder Blake and material which traverses the wide array of genres the singer has pulled from to write songs for Rihanna, Usher & Justin Bieber.

Is Fergie about to snatch a seat on the revived ‘American Idol’?

The Black Eyed Peas songstress certainly isn’t denying the speculation.

Taylor Swift has made no secret of her admiration for her fellow pop superstar Beyonce over the years, but some fans of the latter say Swift took it a step too far when images from her forthcoming ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ video were eerily similar to scenes from Bey’s 2016 hit ‘Formation.’

As if that’s not enough, the ‘Blank Page’ singer is being also accused of ripping a page or two right from Bey’s ‘Haunted’ visual as well.  Taking to Twitter to air their grievances, in the most hilarious way possible, the #Beyhive and allies are calling out Swift for the “similarities.”

Welcome back to TGJ Replay!

Designed much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ features, ‘Replay’ is That Grape Juice‘s newest reflective segment to act as a written quest to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday. Unlike its TGJ retrospective predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase entire albums (and eras) from a library of pop and Urban pop music hits.

To commemorate the 16th anniversary of the untimely passing of R&B’s princess Aaliyah, we’ll salute her last official LP – the eponymous project ‘Aaliyah.’

Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

So, just as our retrospective features ‘From the Vault’ and ‘TGJ Replay’ allow us the chance to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday of one artist, our newest feature Chart Rewind – a variation of our current Retro Rewind assay – accedes salutes to an entire era of music history.

This week we pucker up for Seal‘s 1995 megahit, ‘Kiss From A Rose’ (most famously from the ‘Batman Forever’ soundtrack).  Written in the late 80s, the track was initially a source of embarrassment for the crooner who ultimately shelved it until the recording of his second eponymous album, 1994’s ‘Seal II.’  Eventually released in the United States in 1995, ‘Rose’ also landed on the ‘Batman’ soundtrack – a move that helped it blast to #1 Stateside (where it was found this week that year).

Going on to sell over 8 million copies, the tune dominated the next year’s Grammy ceremony by taking home ‘Record of the Year,’ ‘Song of the Year,’ and other honors.

Tuck in below to see who joined Seal in the top 25 on this week’s ‘Retro Rewind’:
